We are passionate about the design, function and long term viability of buildings, their positive effect on people and the environment, and the creation of a 'sense of place'.
We live and work in Taos, and are uniquely situated to address the specific needs of the Town and the Taos community. Alix is the owner of Henry Architects and has been involved with grant writing and research in what she describes as architectural "thermal aesthetics."

Services
The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between architectural form, thermal comfort and thermal aesthetics in Scandinavian architecture toward the goal of assessing how the creative aspects of architecture fit in with the mechanical performance of buildings. 4 Document the link between climate and architectural form including natural light, heating, cooling and fresh air.
