The lock on our French doors were broken and I thought we might need new locks. I made an appointment with AB1. I was helped by Ramos a few weeks ago. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He carefully checked the locks and he was able to fix the problem without replacing a lock! He also replaced the other doorknob on the door so that it won't interfere with the screen door closing. He even went the extra mile check all the keys and locks thru our house, found a few issues and fixed them. Ramos was very patient with us and he is very skilled. Great services!

Terrible, surly, and incompetent. Maybe if you just need a key made, go here. Anything else- No! I called about removing a mortise lock, they asked for photos and I sent them. He said they would call. I called them twice, but no one there knew anything about that lock. I finally got it out and took it in, they thought it would be rekeyed that day. When it wasn't fixed by 3:30, I went in to pick it up, and they messed around for a half hour. Then I took it to Territorial Lock- they got it done before 5! In November a locksmith came out to the house and changed all the locks. She worked diligently into the night and did a wonderful job. Today, when I realized I had left my key at home in another state, the same woman came up to the house, and let me in. She would not take my money when I tried to pay her. She is a verifiable angel in my book. She even left me a spare key. Great!

I can't thank these guys enough. Thought I'd lost a very important key and was panicking. Found it by chance, looked online, and headed straight for A B1. They made three copies for me (cheap peace of mind) and advised me on a lubricant for a stubborn pair of locks on my cartop carrier. Relief.
They were friendly, very helpful, and fast. Just the kind of small business that is a pleasure to deal with. Don't fight crowds and inferior service--go here!

What a great company and what a super service technician! AB1 where open and honest on the phone when I called about locking my keys in my truck. They gave me an affordable price estimate and an acceptable expected time to arrival, both were better than expected. Eddie, the technician, arrived earlier than promised, he was pleasant, professional, and very skilled and competent at his job. Hope to never have them have to drive all the way to Camel Rock for me again but if I ever lock myself out of my truck again I will certainly be calling AB1 again and asking for Eddie Cassidy to come rescue me

I accidentally locked my keys in the trunk of my car and A B1 was the first place I called since someone recommended them to me.
When I was explaining what happened, the man over the phone was kind of abrasive and I could hear his impatience because he kept asking if there was a switch or manual release in my car that could open the trunk. I tried to tell him yes but in order to get to it I need to get in my car which I could not do because the keys were in the trunk. A family run business. I needed to get my keys laser cut and they provided the service at $40. I was in and out of the shop in less than 5 minutes. They were also very friendly in helping me out in what I was trying to get done. They were debating amongst themselves for my well being. Nothing to complain about after 10 years of using their services. I've had three homes re-keyed by ab1 and they do the best job
For the lowest prices. I've had maybe as much as 100 keys made by them and if I ever had a problem with any key they re cut it no questions. Also, I've had custom and import cars (with codes) and motorcycles re keyed by them with never a problem. One bike I had, nobody had the blank for, (antique Austrian motorcycle). but these guys found it and cut a perfect dupe. Also they have some great safes and installation service is top.
