When we bought our 30 year old house, we knew that we would need to replace the underlayment for our concrete tile roof in the near future. So those of you that need a reroof or roof repair I strongly recommend shelter roofing. Our roofing date was set for May 10 2021 and the morning of May 10 they came out with a crew of 4 men a dumpster and off to work they went. The owner Scott came out for obvious reasons, to collect start up money, but he also told us that they would be done by Friday May 10 and that there would be one facie board that needed replace which would be an amount. So the workers were great they worked from 8 am to 3 pm every day but Friday, They cleaned up almost everything after each day. On day two they brought

Our insurance covered a new roof, and Shelter Roofing worked with our insurance company to make the experience virtually painless. They were ahead of schedule, a cleaned up throughly every day. Wanted to do a quick update after more than a year. Solar is producing great despite the shading. My power bills average to basically nothing over the year (though there's some small charges you still need to pay even if your usage is negative), down from 5k per year. I produced 16MWh in 2020 (with all the shading). No roof leaks, no issues with the solar. The SolarEdge hub disconnected for a few days once, but once I rebooted, all the data was available, no data was lost.
The brown drips from the roof still happen due to condensation in the cooler months. It's

Unfortunately the quoting process didn't go well. I corresponded with them several times and spoke with them by phone, then silence. To this day there has been no follow up. I had mentioned that my roof was damaged by high wind and was no longer rain-proof so timing was critical.
As a result I ended up going with another company and missed out on the county permit process. The county is closed for a week between Christmas and New Years. Now the job is 2 weeks late with another rain event on the way!

I can't recommend Shelter enough. The roof on the fixer-upper we bought hadn't been touched in 32 years so we had an opportunity to build a solar system that was embedded into the tile. When I brought the idea up to Shelter, they were all for it and frankly, probably the only company in the area that could have pulled this off. Very pleased with our solar and roof install. Chris spent a lot of time providing us with lots of good information which helped us to decide on our purchase. We appreciated the education. He helped make this happen for us before the end of 2019 to make sure we qualified for the full rebate, which was very much appreciated. Scott was amazing. Unfortunately running into many hiccups. It is quite frustrated. sometime I think the good Lord try to torture me.
however each time Scott responded and perform what necessary to be done as quickly as possible.
I highly recommend Shelterroofing if you need your roof rebuilt please must ask for Scott the owner of the company.

We recently covered our patio and wanted a permanent roof to cover the newly installed ceiling fan and TV as well as the furniture. We live in a windy area during the winter so this was the way to go in lieu of corrugated metal or plywood. I asked around and my brother in law recommended Shelter Roofing having done the same type of job for them.

Their website, however, offers no such disclaimer. It would be nice if the company saved its potential customers time by making that clear on the website.
