Great design and features. Construction has some minor but expensive faults. History of this home has had water leaks, slab and wall. Currently the stove exhaust fan is not connected to the duct work going to the roof. To allow the stove exhaust to exit, a football sized hole exists in the wall of the cabinet above the stove. A custom built home with many excellent upgrades. Hot water takes time to reach master shower. I would suggest water piping above the ceiling and split into zones. Otherwise, house is great.

I did not know until the day it was installed but my home needed a sump pump. It was built a few inches to low. Handicapped accessible home and one room was not built to those specs. Always an excuse. Subs constantly complained that they were being nickel and dimed by the owners so some of the work was B quality. It took 6 months to come back and finish deck etc etc etc

I have recently purchased a lot in Sugarmill Woods.
I found the lot on my own, and Nelson from Sweetwater Homes took the time to personally examine the lot, making sure we could eventually build our dream home on it without any issues...
I live in South Florida and visit Homosassa monthly to visit my in-laws, Nelson and his team truly make me feel welcome and like family.
They know I will not be building immediately, as I have a few more years to retirement, but they still call from time to time to check on us and see how we are doing.
Their home designs are top notch, and the costs are unbelievably

We have had 3 homes built within the past 13 years, and Sweetwater Homes is by far the best quality home. I love the fact that you can customize/change the plans from their model homes. Whenever, we were onsite observing, all the contractors were nothing but pleasant to us. We love our new home and Eddie (Construction Manager), was awesome at the final stages in getting things complete. Eddie is very professional and cares about making the customer satisfied.

We selected Sweetwater of Citrus Co. To build our custom home. We are so happy we did. Everyone was very professional and did a wonderful job, very impressive. I dont want to be a name dropper but Thomas, Tim, Jennifer and Craig are who we worked with and we are totally elated with the friendships formed with them while building our house. We still use Jennifer Largo for our design needs.

We love our beautiful Grand Westwind home! We were very happy with the building process and found Sweetwater to be quick to respond with any concerns or questions we had. My recent home building experience with Sweetwater Homes was very positive. The quality of the construction overall exceeded my expectations. The finish work is top notch, especially the trim work and painting. I was on site almost every day and any issues or concerns that I found were addressed quickly. Building a home is not without its challenges as I have learned through past experiences, but I would not hesitate to build again with Sweetwater Homes. Definitely recommend this company as the one to use in Citrus County.
