James was AWESOME!! I had an almost impossible landscape project with short deadline - a total front, side and rear bed overhaul and design, shrub removal, bed edging, soil prep & leveling and mulch, all in 3 days! James met me the same day I called. I've never seen someone work so HARD, tirelessly, until the job was done, beautifully I might add. I love the flared river rock swath he designed and laid down under my front and back gutter spouts, dividing the beds with class. What curb appeal now!! Waiting on our return of our $!! This guy tells a bunch of lies and on his invoice there are phone numbers that are not valid!! Look out!! Scam!! I will take to court if I do not get my money back!! Very disappointed when I tried to be nice!! I will display my emails that shows dates, times and even the calls on how he was ill for an entire week but could not even call me!! Disgraceful!!

James has cut my grass for years. My yard is not an easy yard to maintain. I have gumball trees in my front and back yard. The fall is the worst, leafs rain down in my yard followed by gumballs. Its a daunting task, way to much for me to take on myself. When James would "leaf🤣" my yard, it would look immaculate! Edged, trimed and not a single leaf or gumball in my yard. Its easy to see that he take pride in his work!! Thank you J&S lawn services!!!5 stars all the way

What I thought would take weeks, if not months to get completed was finished in about 2 weeks! James was professional and made me feel at ease. James and his team did a fantastic job installing new emerald zoysia for us. They did an awesome job grading and prepping and then the placed the sod end cut it perfectly. To top it off, they cleaned up and made it look like they were never even here. These are tough times to run a landscaping business - it’s tough to find helping hands. Despite this, James did the work and did it top notch.

Company walked my property and gave estimate for general landscaping to be conducted. Was told that work could begin in 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went with little to no responses to emails. Finally received a text from James that work would commence the last week of April. Now here it is the 7th of May and not a word back from them. It's now too late in the spring to have anyone come and work on my landscaping before the summer. I've texted and called without a response. It would have been professional and courteous if J&S would have been honest at the beginning and said they don't have the time

We bought an older home with an established yard last year. It is gorgeous, and will be a great spot for our backyard wedding-win win, right? We quickly realized that we bought fixer-upper and a small park, which was more than we could handle. James has swooped in to save us. The owner James came by personally and did the original estimate and talked me through some of the options for the yard. After agreeing to a very reasonable price we scheduled a time with his office manager Amber who was super responsive and professional.
James and his team worked on the yard over two days because he said he felt like it needed a little more time and didn't want to rush it. The team came back the second day and finished up the work. It looks like a new house! Many neighbors have stopped by to ask who we hired and complimented the newly landscaped lawn.

We could not be more impressed with James and his crew at J&S. We have a large lot of land in our neighborhood, and I knew it would take a professional to keep our property looking sharp. After a few quotes and phone calls, thankfully I found James.
His program is essentially "no touch", meaning he takes care of absolutely everything on a bi-weekly basis...year round! All grass cutting, trimming, edging, blowing, fertilization, weed control, pre emergent, post emergent, leaf maintenance in the winter, redoing pine straw each year...the list goes on.

We have the greenest yard on our street thanks to James! Great local small business right here in Columbia. It's nice to find someone local you can depend on and takes care of the little details of your yard. Stays trimmed and green in the spring and summer which is nice when you want to enjoy your weekend in the backyard. In the fall and winter he keeps the leaves blown and continues to maintain or yard for us to enjoy. 2 years of service and still a loyal monthly customer!
