Native of Tallahassee, Floridian Anthony Swinson has worked in construction for over 20 years. His construction career includes custom trim carpentry, assistant superintendent, vinyl siding contractor, and head superintendent for Marlin Design and Construction. Anthony has an Associate in Arts from Tallahassee Community College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Flagler College.
As a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida, Kenley Design and Construction specializes in new residential and commercial construction, as well as remodeling and restoration. He is a member in good standing of the Tallahassee Builder's Association, Florida Home Builders, and National Home Builders.
He has obtained his Green Builder certification for the state of Florida. Kenley Design & Construction's office is currently located in Havana, Florida. Anthony is well-skilled in all phases of construction. In addition, he has a new home specialist to assist the Home Owner through the entire process from plan design to move-in.

Over 15 years ago, Tallahassee native, Anthony Swinson, launched his building career. In addition to obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Flagler College, Anthony worked his way through the ranks of the construction industry acquiring valuable experience along the way. In 2007 he obtained his Certified General Contractor's license and established, Kenley Design and Construction, LLC.
The Tallahassee Builders Association (TBA) is a non-profit professional trade organization comprised of local builders, remodelers, developers and associated businesses involved in the residential construction industry. The association is affiliated with both the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

We are delighted with the news that Anthony is opening his own company. Anthony managed the building of our home in Buckhead subdivision, and at all times he was professional, competent, and willing to work with us through each phase of construction. This was the fifth new home we have built, so we are aware of the pitfalls and poblems that can occur.

We had Anthony design and put in a master bath for our folks. He and his men did a terrific job. From the get go he understood what we were looking for and delivered. Plus he was able to complete the whole project while we took the folks on an extended trip. When we returned home, everything was completed to perfection. No punch list needed. Would recommend Anthony to everyone, and have.

Anthony built our house in 2015. He and Lisa were very conscientious of our budget and helped us build a wonderful, functional house. We have been extremely happy with the quality of the work. Since then I have called Anthony several times with questions and for advice whenever we've wanted to make small changes around the house. He is always quick to respond and help. I work in the real estate industry and have met several of Anthony's other customers as well. Virtually all feel the same way - Anthony takes pride in building quality custom homes and in making his customers happy.

We just completed construction of our new house and moved in at the end of February. Working with Kenley (Anthony and Lisa) from design to completion with many steps in between was well worth the process. As an added bonus, Lisa was able to patiently help us with design and decorating ideas which provided unique touches we would have never considered. We love our house and would do it again in a heartbeat! When friends and family see the house for the first time.., their first reaction is “Wow”! Thanks Anthony and Lisa!!

Kenley Design completed our construction in Fall of 2019. Anthony came highly recommended from a friend and he delivered. I am very particular because I usually do my own construction so I have a tendency to be very involved, aka asking million of questions. Anthony and his crew were very patient, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. The craftsmanship which is typically hard to find today was very evident. Everything is square, plumb, and precise because Steve and Steve are true craftsman. As is typical in construction things come up in the field that don’t present on the paper plans but Anthony

Anthony built our home in 2016 and the process was seamless. We had seen one of his builds at the Parade of Homes and found a house plan from his portfolio that fit our wants & needs. Lisa was wonderful to have along the way, assisting with exterior and interior selections and we always knew exactly where we stood financially. Our build took the exact amount of time that was predicted and we could not be happier with the outcome. We have had zero issues since moving in and you can tell this is a custom home. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Anthony with Kenley helped me out greatly with a deck rebuild. The project started just before hurricane Michael and Anthony himself made time to come over before the storm to ensure there was no small pieces of wood that could damage our home, which was great as we scrambled to get prepared for the storm. I then assumed it would be some time before the project was complete but that was not the case.
They were back at work much sooner than expected.

We used Kenley Design In the fall of 2019 for an unplanned home renovation brought on by extensive water damage. We had been through the ringer with insurance companies and getting quotes from multiple other contractors. Anthony was referred by a friend and from the day we first called him to project completion he was very personable, responsive, professional, and provided high quality work. Anthony Swinson of Kenley Design and Construction has completed three remodeling projects for us. Each of these projects was major and we stayed in our home throughout the process.
