On June 30th, we embarked on a creative, exciting journey with ZUHAUS, a local construction company owned and operated by Joe and Julia Fisher.
For several years, my husband and I discussed the creation of a 'faux" fireplace wall, the primary purpose of which would be to accommodate a large, wall-mounted TV.
Having moved to Tucson from New Jersey 14 years ago, we envisioned combining a somewhat 'urban' East Coast aesthetic with some Southwestern flavor.
During this time I collected examples of fireplace design ideas from home decor magazines. Phoenix Home & Garden in particular was a treasure

I had Joe and his workers replaced my kitchen sink and all the cabinets and counter tops on one side of my kitchen. It was amazing how well he was able to match my current cabinets so that I did not have to do the entire kitchen. He also listened to what my wants/requests were and made sure they were met. They worked very efficiently and with great care for our needs and keeping things cleaned up. I felt very comfortable having them in my home and do this work. The price was very reasonable for the work they did and it was done quickly. I would recommend Zuhaus Construction for any kind of project

Zuhaus did an amazing job to our bathroom!! Joe, Julia, Danielle, Austin, and the whole crew were fantastic. My husband and I were very pleased with the high level of customer service, superior craftsmanship, and attention to detail. I had never done a remodel before and was very anxious (and had a TON questions!). Joe and Julia were very patient and took the time to answer every single question I had. Joe would explain the how/why/what of everything they were doing. It completely put my mind at ease. Then I saw what Zuhaus could do and was blown away by the end-results. They totally transformed

Zuhaus installed a 1'x3" window above my front door. The hallway was extremely dark and I had inquired about installing a skylight. Joe went over my options and suggested installing a window which I hadn't even thought of. It came out beautiful and looks like it has always been there! Please do not hesitate to call Zuhaus if even for just an estimate. Joe and his workers are knowledgeable, respectful and awesome at what they do. Thank you, Zuhaus!!!

We had Zuhaus Construction and Remodeling remodel our dining room (remove the old carpet and install tile flooring) and we couldn’t be happier with the results!!! Everything about working with this company was 100%. Joe and his team were extremely professional, courteous, clean and efficient. They treated our home as if it were theirs and made sure that the new floor was PERFECT. I would highly recommend Zuhaus to anyone that needs any construction or remodeling needs

Joe did a wonderful job updating and remodeling my Condo that I was preparing to put up for sale. He was very reasonable with his prices .
He did all the work while I was out of town and the place came out beautiful. Joe kept me up to date with everything, sending pictures and calling me back when ever I had a question. Joe is a hard working and very honest man. I would not hesitate to use him again. Thank you again Joe

Zuhaus is amazing! Joe is extremely knowledgeable and has done a great job on many projects in our home. He installed a brand new shower door and took the extra time to make custom cuts to ensure a perfect fit. He’s since come back to do a list of smaller handyman type of stuff and I’m sure we will use him for more projects in the future. He is a great communicator with his quotes and completed the jobs thoroughly and on time. I’m so thankful we found Zuhaus and recommend them for anything around the home!
