Howland Disposal

Absolutely awful. They stop their trucks in the middle of the road blocking traffic while their employees debate in the street whether or not the trash is acceptable to take. They drop half the trash they throw in the truck in the street and leave it behind. Plainville MA needs to get a new trash service.

Horrible, routinely tosh trash bins into yard/ street. Terrible customer service. After snow storm drove by my house twice and didn't pick up my trash. Called for a missed pickup and basically they asked the questions ensuring that trash was properly tagged and set out at curb on time (which it was). Then they say it won't be picked up for another week. Useless.

NOT impressed. 😒😒
Town of Plainville switched to Howland disposal, for trash removal.
They are finally consistent with pickup, which to begin with should have been a goal from the start. I live on Rt1, so this is NOT impressive. It's an easy to find location.
I could understand if I lived on a back road, and the driver couldn't find the house.
I'm a landlord, and I purchase the wheeled trash container for my apartments, they're not cheap. The employees I've had, fling the containers in the "general direction" of my driveway. Evidently this also includes the southbound lane of Rt1. Which

I don't do these "comment" section often but feel the need to provide feedback when I'm ultra happy with a service provider------let alone a trash company! Howland disposal was great from the moment I called, driver servicing my location and finally the ease of paying my invoice. Great company, Great service-------------Nice Job Team Howland!

Horrible company had to call several times to get trash picked up. Was told rudely that "we were lucky we had them for a vendor" that they would come and pick it up special". Isn't that what I am paying for in the first place? We are switching to ABC.

Worst disposal company ever called multiple times spoke to manager that the lady that picked up my trash in swansea had thrown the can at my car doesn't take all the trash out of it and she still has a job. Call someone else if you want quality service.

Best service on the south shore,Great prices, Trash and Recycling, bulk item pick up and septic pumping and testing. They also have roll offs for the big jobs! Friendly staff, drivers go out of there way to help you. :)

Dont use them for a service... but got to say I was impressed when I saw them in plainville today. Very narrow back road due to snow... never seen a crew work that hard/quickly. Worker even took the time to spot me and one other vehicle around them. Wanted their efforts to be known.

These jerks wanted their container back and sent me a 30 dollar bill for legal action. (first one)and dumped trash all over my front yard. purposely dumped it all over ..and i do mean all over the yard. dont go to them. they are horrible people and i am seeking a warrant and a civil law suit over what they did.
