My company called LA Glass to assist us on a project that we had made an error on. Ellen - the secretary - took our call and without a purchase order / contract sent their employees to the job site, took our piece of glass to cut down to the correct size, broke it, and offered nothing to us for breaking it. When trying to rectify it - I was cursed over and over and threatened with physical violence.
After reading the other reviews on this site - it appears we should have done our research before calling them.

The owner of this company freely and proudly uses "n---r" and "retards" all over his Facebook and Twitter and then blocks those who call him out. Don't patronize this business- here's to hoping Karma gets him before a human being does.

At the end of the day, no matter the level of melanin in our skin, our money (like or blood) is the same. However, due to the behavior and crass statements of Jim Berrigan on a social media forum towards People of Color, I feel the dollars of all people could be better spent elsewhere. In a state with the second largest Black population (32% as of 2010), no one should be so comfortable calling customers derogatory, demeaning, and racist terms without repercussion. Anyone that feels comfortable expressing such sentiment towards other human beings should not expect those same people to, then, turn

Children of my generation have had the opportunity to grow up with social media. We have constantly been told ... "Be careful what you post!". It's honestly a shame that this "man" decided to use his first amendment right so poorly! But, we should all take this as an excellent example of what we don't want our children to do. An example of the harmful effects of wreckless posting with a heavy-handed dash of bigotry!

Mentally incompetent owner. Your work (or lack thereof) reflects who you are as a person. Subhuman=substandard!

Its disheartening to see some of the ignorant things people decided to do with the freedoms they have as Americans. Be more mindful of what you say on the internet it might just affect you in the long run. #boycottjim #theyoutharewatching

This guy gets what he deserves.
I feel bad if his employees suffer.
But this is the beginning of a culture war.
There will be victims.

You've got to wonder what kind of lousy service you would get from a racist company like Louisiana Glass. Owner Jim Berrigan uses words like "Nig", short for you know, and you can't help but wonder how he cheats his customers, especially if they happen to have a "tan." Awful place, don't waste your hard earned money.
