The lead remediation process can often be a confusing and frustrating one, should you not know the necessary steps to take. Northeast Remediation is available to answer any questions you may have in regards to the process and methods available. 1 Obtain a lead inspection report from a Massachusetts certified lead inspector.
Northeast Remediation has a large amount of experience in dealing with mold remediation in homes. While mold is not as regulated as lead and there is no required license necessary to perform the work, it is always best to hire an individual who is knowledgeable and understands the dangers of mold. If remediated incorrectly and without the proper equipment, additional spores can be released into the air, actually worsening the situation.
Northeast Remediation is often hired for projects other than full remediation. Many homeowners are only interested in having renovations performed, and not completely deleading their home. If a home is built prior to 1978, it contains lead. Unless all lead has been eliminated from the home, necessary precautions should be taken when performing any renovation or repair.
In my experience, Northeast Remediation is in a league of their own when it comes to professionalism, quality, care, thoughtfulness, and caring about their customers. They are exceptional. We checked with several companies before choosing Northeast Remediation and we were simply blown away by the difference, even starting with the promptness and professionalism of the receptionist who made our appointments.
Northeast Remediation came out to a home I am planning on purchasing at short notice to provide a free mold assessment, and detailed estimate for the remediation and repairs. I contacted Northeast Remediation on a Thursday afternoon. By Friday morning I already had the estimate in hand. Lars from Northeast Remediation beat me to the property and I was a bit early to the appointment.

We hired Northeast Remediation for a fairly large (over $10k) lead remediation job on an old property. They explained costs clearly ahead of time, were prompt and consistent in their communication, and they actually started the work a week earlier than initially planned. I'm accustomed to contractors and other tradespeople having rather poor communication and often not meeting deadlines, so this was a refreshing change.

Working with Northeast Remediation was a nice experience. They were very informative, the lady who came and her crew answered every question I had, they went above and beyond to finish the job on timely manner for I had a deadline that I needed to meet. To add to the great experience the Price was unbeatable, they match the price with a company who previously gave me an estimate for the job. I went with Northeast because they were better at explaining things to me and seems to care more and had more knowledge of what needed to be done in my house. I would definitely recommend Northeast Remediation

With a new born baby on the way, an over anxious landlord to get us out, and a brand new home full of lead. Staff were readily available to assess the work that needed to be done to remove mold and improve the quality of the air in the basement. The assessment was comprehensive and well documented. The work was completed it as soon as we could provide access and it was excellent and done efficiently causing minimal disruption. I would highly recommend North East Remediation.

I highly recommend Northeast Remediation. They did a fantastic job in all phases of our renovation project in Lexington, MA including de-leading, window replacement, carpentry, and painting. Everyone at NE Remediation was very professional and helpful. All steps were carefully and fully explained, the bid was detailed (and significantly lower than others), and the management went out of their way to assign a large enough crew to get us back into our house by Thanksgiving -- a major effort that involved a lot of work over the weekend without charging us for the overtime. Afterwards, they were very good about completely the punch list of minor touch-ups. Highly recommended.
