When sliding doors and windows work well, enjoying more of the outdoors and opening up living and working space is easy. But when sliders stick or jam it can be a challenge just to go in and out of your home or business. If one or more of your sliding doors or windows is not working properly it may be frustrating and time consuming to keep your areas safe and secure.

Florida construction tends to have multiple sliding doors and windows opening to pools, patios, screen rooms, and common areas. High traffic areas are sure to show wear and tear from heavy daily use. Broken handles, worn tracks, damaged glass and torn screens are not only unsightly, but can present a safety hazard and increased utility bills. Poor functioning sliders also make it inconvenient to access and enjoy your outdoor spaces.
Services
Several years ago Robert "Bob" Jennings noticed a need in the marketplace for quality sliding door repairs. In 2019, he decided to do something about it and the doors of Bay Area Sliding Door Repairs were opened! Bob brings a unique blend of formal education coupled with acquired life skills to his family owned and operated local company.
Are one or more of your sliding glass doors or windows not working properly? Is it frustrating and difficult just to open and close the doors or windows? Do they stick, or jam every time you use them? If locks or handles are broken security and energy efficiency can literally fly out of the window.
When one or more of your sliding glass doors do not working properly it is frustrating and difficult to operate your business efficiently. A door that sticks or jam every time you use it is annoying and problematic. If a lock or handle is broken, security and energy efficiency can add to the problems.
Besides looking unsightly, missing or torn screens can allow debris to collect in tracks causing further operational problems, and possible damage to the tracks or rollers. Maybe you avoid using your sliding glass door at all because the torn screens make your doors unattractive, allow debris to spill inside.
When sliding windows don't function well, it is frustrating and difficult just to open and close the windows to provide the service customers expect. In today's fast paced world, commercial drive thru or walk up sliding windows are counted on for fast, easy service. When poorly functioning windows prevent efficient service, customers may take their business elsewhere.

I called Bay Area in July for repair to my sliding glass door. They came out ,said would order part, never heard from them again. Called the phone numbers I had and no response until Sept. Got Bob. Said he had fired the previous repairman. Would. Order my part and sent out on Oct 1, never called, never showed up. Just tell me you don’t want my money and that you can’t get the part. I have run out of patience.

Wow! An absolute example of what a business should be. They are exactly why I prefer to work with small businesses. Bob, the owner, spoke to me on the phone about my concerns regarding my slider. He could tell I was unsure about what repairs I even needed and volunteered to come by to look before we booked an appointment. When he came over he set my mind at ease, walked me through all the needed and optional repairs and worked with me to make sure the price was fair.
The next business day, my repairs were complete. This is a family business, so don't be worried if two younger guys show up to fix

My sliding door wasn't working for years. One of the rollers busted over time and it took a lot of huffing and puffing to make it move. I looked into buying a new sliding glass door, but due to a change in building code, I would've had to reconstruct the door frame to be code compliant.
I'm lucky Bay Area Sliding Door Repairs exists! In an era where quality workmanship is hard to find, these guys truly stand out! They were easy to schedule, showed up on time, and got the job done without making my life more difficult. Thank you, gentlemen! I wish you the best!

Excellent service all around. Mr. Bob Jennings, the owner, returned my call immediately. He was able to diagnose my door issue over the phone. Other contractors were wanting to replace my door. There was nothing wrong with the door itself, just the door track. The technicians Ross & Logan arrived promptly and completed the track replacement within 30 minutes. Plus they are a local family run business. I couldn't be happier.

Called at 2pm on Friday, and by 3:15, two polite techs were at my house. Issue was fixed by 3:35, and was $250 less than quoted on phone! (Ross the tech said it was a cheaper issue than originally diagnosed on the phone!)
I couldn’t be happier with the speed, politeness, and ease of the transaction from phone call to signing the invoice; and my doors close!
Thanks!
