Last summer, Louis' team was fixing the flashing on the dormers of the house next to mine. I had the exact same problem and asked for a quote. One of his men came over and Louis said they would fix it before the bad weather came.
Well, Louis called and said he couldn't get to the job, but would patch it up for me so I would have further damage, and then fix it in the spring. Spring arrives a d I call Louis. He says yes, I will be over. Summer is about to arrive and I get a song and dance about a new baby but he would be here. Labor Day is two weeks away still no Louis.

Louis (owner) was super responsive from the initial inquire to final wrap-up. I had to get my back roof (2nd & 3rd) floor decks (flame down) redone along with railings and a considerable amount of water damage.
The team did an awesome job, quick and professional. Loving my new roof deck.

This company has been working on the roof of the house next door to mine for i believe going on about 8 days now. I grew up working residential construction including roofing and there is no way i would ever hire these guys. They show up sometime between 8 & 8:45 a.m. on the days they actually show up, by 9:30 they are taking a break, by the time they start actually working its time for their hour lunch and then they start cleaning up to leave by 2:30/3 p.m. The employees have quite the mouth while they are working and have been nose to nose in the middle of the street with each other so i have

I started the process of finding a roofer with some trepidation. I have an old victorian in the Elmwood village/west side that I knew needed a complete tear off along with some fire damage that needed repair. I got the obligatory 3-5 quotes and was a bit overwhelmed with the expense. We have a very steep roof with dormers, additions and other twists and turns. A complete tear off plus major carpentry work is no small investment!
I noticed while doing the walk through with the roof estimators that everyone seemed to downplay the expense of the fire damage repair. They just did the standard calculation

Thought I had a major issue over my windows and Louis showed up and told me that I really had a minor issue and he could have just done the job and charged me hundreds if not more but he was very fair on price. he did a very professional job. Very friendly and informative. Will use him again without a doubt.

This past June i had Home Handyman Service do their 3rd major project to my home in the Elmwood Village. They have built for me a front and back deck, a fully remodeled full bathroom and most recently a second floor porch. Their work is exceptional and very professional. They arrive on time each day they are on site and work very diligently and efficiently. The final product is better than the vision that sparked the idea for the renovation. Highly recommended for both big projects and small.

The day of the heavy summer rain, the roof in the back of my house began to leak. I freaked right out, called every roof business on Yelp. Louis called me back, calmed me down, asked me appropriate questions, told me honestly that while he could come out in a few days to assess the situation, it would be 2 weeks or so before he could fix it. I got other estimates, and Home Handyman Service was not the lowest bid, but I so appreciated the time he took to speak to this crazy lady calmly, using words I could understand. After the repair, there was a bit of an issue that he fixed immediately

We recently had a new roof put on by Home Handyman Service and they did a fantastic job. This was not an easy job. We have a 2 1/2 story house with two dormers and very limited access. The Home Handyman crew was extremely professional and respectful. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and at the conclusion of the job. The owner, Lou, is the most responsive contractor we've ever experienced. He explained everything thoroughly and informed us of issues that arose during the course of the roof replacement. His estimate matched the final bill. We highly recommend
