Crystal Lake Storage

Very impressed with their customer service. Michael let me know that they did not have a unit available, offered to put me on a waitlist, then gave me a list of numbers of local storage facilities that are not owned by the property rental companies. I found one that is very affordable and also run by extremely friendly people (from my hometown!) on the first call. Michael has a gift. I would love to have a cup of coffee with him and his wife.

They have been very supportive of our non-profit in the past by advertising our annual community event on their reader board at no charge. We decided we needed one location to store all of our equipment & they were a natural choice. A very well run facility, kept clean & secure.

I rented a unit over the summer and both owners were so friendly and helpful. Easy sign up/cancel/payment process and very reasonable prices. No complaints here!

Very secure, temp controlled units. The watchman lives on site and takes his job very seriously. Thanks for keeping my unit safe for nearly 3 years

Had a very creepy experience with one of the operators here. I wouldn't go as far as to say don't go here. But I as a female I wouldn't feel comfortable going to this storage facility alone. Nice units spacious outside areas. No lighting inside the unit I rented for a non profit I was doing secretary work for at the time. They are well ventilated and secure.
I will go as far as to say the owner strong armed the elderly woman who runs the organization, I had three other units lined up to look at, they went over my head and insisted we were running out of time. I had done alot of research at the

The managers here could not have been more helpful from offering to lend me a lock & furniture movers, contacting me when my pods were delivered & alerting me when a smaller unit was available. ALSO & most important: the units were immaculate. I had an emergency move & mattresses, furniture were simply thrown in. There were no vermin, no spiders, no mold...nothing. I might as well have setup my living room in there because everything was in perfect shape.

Michael and Susan are great and went above and beyond to accommodate my storage needs. They both make the business enticing and satisfying. When my friend and I walked out of their office, I said, "Now you see why I want my things to be in this storage facility" and she said, "Absolutely." Just working with them is a joy. They obviously care about service to their customers above all and that is getting less and less easy to find and experience. If things work out, I may never want to move out just for the fun of running by to chat and to pet their little poodle girl, Vida.

Although none of us really wants to have to deal with storage units, sometimes you just have to. As for me, I'm glad to have found Susan and Michael at Crystal Lake Storage. They were friendly from the beginning, always helpful, and run a tight ship. If you have need of a storage facility, I highly recommend them!

I stored my entire house contents with Crystal Lake for almost a year. I never once had a problem with the unit or the staff. The facility is secure. I created my own security code for the gate. I never felt unsafe even when I was in my unit at night. My things were in the same good condition as when I first put them in there. I didn't worry about mildew or mold. The rate was very reasonable compared to other places in town. The managers were great. I've never used storage before and they were very helpful in answering all my questions, not rushing me through and out the door. I've recommended

We stored many of our belongings from end of March until early October. Our belongings stayed in perfect condition: no mold, no bad smell, no water damage (although it did not rain much), and no insects. The managers offered a great service, they were very helpful and friendly.
