Holmes Services
Holmes Services is a family owned and operated business that was founded by our grandfather "Arthur (Tony) Holmes" more than 92 years ago. Serving the Memphis area for over 60 years, we are one of the South's largest septic tank cleaning companies. What has helped make our company so successful over the years is our commitment to making our customers satisfied.

We sell our service. Holmes Services was the first company to introduce new technology to our customer base that could best help the needs of each and every customer we have. Make Holmes Services your one-stop call. It's technology such as TV pipeline inspecting, septic and grease traps services, hydro jetting, and air movers - but not limited to those services - that makes us who we are.

The vacuum truck comes equipped with a tilt dump allowing for fast unloading on site. The dump opens and disposes through the rear much like a dump truck, which ensures that all waste material has been removed. Air-moving is a vacuuming process by which materials contained in tanks, containers and surface impoundments are loaded by pneumatic conveyance (that is, vacuuming with controlled velocity).
Grease traps are used by commercial and industrial establishments that use much larger quantities of fats, oils and grease in their daily operations. It is typically found between the drain lines and the sanitary sewer lines in the restaurant. The grease trap or interceptor allows for the collection and separation of the grease, oils and fats from used water.
Your septic tank is a tank that is found underground. It collects and decomposes the waste matter from your home or commercial building. This waste matter is decomposed through bacterial action. If the waste in your septic tank contains too much solid, this is a sign of not enough bacteria to break down the waste.
Holmes Services has the technology and equipment to inspect the interior of a sewer system and then provide the customer with a videotape. This information is valuable in pinpointing any problems that may exist in the system and can be used to assist in determining the proper course of action needed to prevent future backups.
