I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Joe and his team at Grand Bay Movers. We did an out of state move, and I happened upon them by just doing a quick google search. They were professional, prompt, responsive and accommodating. This was by far my best experience utilizing a moving company. I highly recommend Joe and his team, even if you are within a couple hours of their location. They are amazing!

I called several movers in the area for our small move of some heavy items that were stored upstairs in our garage to be moved into our home. Unlike other movers, Joe was able to immediately give me a quote (which was accurate) and offer us dates for moving. The movers arrived on time and were hard-working, efficient, and friendly. They worked to please and nothing was damaged. The movers brought a floor mat to protect the carpeting and straps to move the heavy bed mattresses. I highly recommend this moving business.

They were awesome! Needed a 20’ truck unloaded after our move from out if state - called Joe at the last minute after another company didn’t show. He sent Frank and Mike the next day who were quick and efficient! I would highly recommend them!

My family has used this company twice before and had great service the previous two times. This time we did not have the same service. Movers dropped and broke my 50" tv, dropped my sons dresser, spent 40 minutes getting a couch through a doorway (same couch/same doorway took them 15 minutes to get through it the last time we used them) and they spent more time complaining about the couch than actually doing anything to get it through the door, the one mover spent more time on his phone than lifting a finger in the move... and when contacted the company to discuss what occurred we got yelled

The crew did an excellent job moving our furnishings into their climate controlled storage. Every item was padded and wrapped expertly and we know they will be in great condition when they are retrieved. Very efficient workers, friendly, on time and careful. Would highly recommend the team and will use them again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joe and his crew. We had scheduled our move with a different company, and after two hours (and VERY little actually done), the other company walked off the job. JOE TO THE RESCUE. Roughly an hour after I called Joe in tears, we had a new crew over to help. Terry and Christian COMPLETELY redid the shoddy work that the first crew did (making the drive for my husband exponentially safer), and they had all of our belongings out and expertly arranged in the truck in about four hours. I am so grateful to Joe, Terry, and Christian for their kindness and sterling

Larry and Cameron helped me load my moving truck with all the heavy things. They loaded the truck with room to spare and showed us to how to add the rest of our stuff. They took a very stressful situation and made it tolerable and fun! Their humor was so appreciated. They even challenged my daughter to a race to see who could get table legs off the fastest. :) I would highly recommend them for your moving needs!

Over the last seven years I have moved from Atlanta to Houston to Detroit to Cleveland to Traverse City. And now across town from Downtown TC to the west side of TC. I've had a lot of professional movers in my life. Grand Bay Moving was by far and away the best of the lot. Very courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

What a great group of guys. Very serious about their jobs and their level of professionalism. Continually checked in with me to be sure they were exceeding my expectations. Joe is a great businessman. He knows exactly how to manage his crew to get the most out of them. He is focused but was always encouraging to his team and took time to teach the newer team members along the way. His team; Frank, Chris and Austin were perfect gentlemen and hard workers. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move across town or across the globe.

Joe and his crew are AMAZING and I would HIGHLY recommend them. I've moved 15 times in my life and will never do it again without these guys. We moved from Harbor Springs to Traverse City yesterday and we couldn't have done it without them. We relocated for my husband's job and unfortunately he had to be at work so I was left to do the whole move with our young toddler. I was really stressed and worried. No need though! Joe and the crew handled everything and it ended up being a really fun day! They arrived on time, got right to work and had everything moved out of the old house
