A. Customer service is a dying art, but we believe old-fashioned values are worth preserving. We will learn your name and get to know you because we genuinely care. We work quickly, but carefully, from the first quote to the final box. We're detail-oriented and excellent communicators. A. It starts with a FREE quote and is based on the size and number of items you are moving, how far you are moving, and the number of boxes, packing supplies, etc.
We realize that moving is more than just getting stuff from one house to another. It's about making the process as easy and stress-free as we can. Our team will delight you with uncommon customer service, from the initial quote to the final box moved in. Moving a business from one location to another can be exhausting.
If you don't have the time or energy to pack your things, or if you want to ensure your belongings are packed with care, our packing services are for you! We use sturdy boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, and detailed labels to make sure your belongings arrive safe and sound at their new destination.
We will load your pre-boxed items into the truck and protect furniture with shrink wrap. You will need to provide moving blankets to ensure we can safely pack your things and prevent damage along the way. Loading service is for people who are moving to a new community (i.e., long-distance moves only).

I called Flint Hills moving for an estimate for a in town move. My move was basically equal to one bedroom apartment. Moving out of a ranch, no stairs involved into and single level house (no stairs) so pretty easy straight forward move. Drive time would have been the biggest part, my new home is 20 minutes away from where I'm moving but all still in Manhattan. The estimate came back at $3,000!!! When I called to ask about the estimate it was confirmed that it was the correct price quoted. I called Reliable Moving and Storage and they quoted me a price for 1/3 of what Flint Hills moving did

The crew at Flint Hills Moving was great!! The crew was super nice and very professional. You could tell they knew what they were doing and worked VERY fast. My move would've taken me pretty much all day and they have everything out of the old place and into the new apartment in just about two hours. Made my moving process so much less stressful. Would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone in the area.

Best moving experience I’ve ever had. The crew showed up on time, assessed the items we had to pack and immediately got to work. We had a 3 bedroom house and full garage to load. This amount of work would’ve taken me all day and they had it done in a couple of hours. The crew was also very friendly! I would recommend these guys to anyone that I planning a move big or small.

I can't say enough great things about Flint Hills Moving. I had a need to have some last minute help moving heavy furniture and appliances. There was ease in getting the service scheduled. The price was reasonable. They were very flexible and easily adjusted when I had to push the scheduled time back a bit. I can't say enough great things about Deonte and the crew that assisted me. They were helpful, courteous, and went way above and beyond. If you need to make any moves in or around Manhattan, KS then theses are the folks to help.

I had an amazing experience with Flint Hills Moving!!! Joe and his team were awesome. They were all super communicative, professional, and friendly. The movers were very careful with all of my belongings as well as with the house itself. They arrived exactly on time and they were SUPER fast. They made my moving experience so much easier and I am so grateful for all of their help. 10/10 recommend this company and I will definitely be using them again for any future moves!

I went to Target to buy pens and I ended up buying a fuzzy/warm sherpa chair on impulse. Unfortunately it did not fit into my vehicle and Target does not offer delivery! Luckily Flint Hills Moving bailed me out by picking it up for me and delivering it to my house. Very professional and courteous and were patient when Target had trouble finding my chair. Everything worked out eventually and the chair is currently being enjoyed by a very satisfied customer pictured below. Highly recommend for all your moving needs and your Target impulse purchases.

We have used Flint Hills twice in the past 8 months - once, they saved us when another company fell through last minute on a state-to-state move! Had a pleasant experience both times, from the actual movers themselves (Forrest and his team rock!), to billing (love the office gals too!) to the handwritten thank you card from owner Joe after we had gotten settled! Its the little details and the people that make the difference - Flint Hills excels at both. Highly recommend.

A friend recommended this moving company so I called to see if I could hire them for a move.
Day 1: Left message with my number and asked for them to call me back.
Day 2: No return phone call so called them and spoke with Kaitlyn. Gave her my details and she said someone would call back with an estimate.
Day 3: No return phone call, so again, I had to call back and spoke with Kaitlyn. She assured me someone would call.
Day 4: Never heard from anyone. Found another company.
You would think a company would have the decency to say "Hey, we're not available." Real simple.

Wow! Such an awesome experience! We wanted to use a local company and are so glad we did. Their communication from the beginning was great and they were very prompt. In two days Forrest and his team: Mitch, Nick, Cam and Ben packed our house (including outdoor furniture!) and had us moved and comfortable in our new house the next day!. They organized it so we were able to sleep in our beds after packing us, and the next night we slept in our beds in the new house! These guys work FAST. CRAZY fast. We had an 8 am appointment to move a two bedroom apartment, and they were done unloading at our new place in two hours!
They were very careful and professional with our furniture. They're insured against damages, but that didn't matter - they didn't damage a thing.

Recently hired Flint Hills Moving to do a local move from one side of Manhattan to another. They were great! We had several valuable pieces of furniture and two king size beds, in addition to about 5 rooms worth of furniture. They took excellent care of everything, wrapping them up and organizing them in the truck so that they did not rub against each other. We have moved 3 times within the last two years and can recognize great work. Would recommend them to anyone, big job or small. Joe is the owner and he is detail oriented and easy to work with. Very accommodating.
