The first time they came out my mother was not wanting the over hundred year old pines next to the house to be taken out or overly trimmed (as we were wanting). I really admired the respect they gave my aging mother and the trees. We needed up with beautifully trimmed trees. The second time they came it was below 30 with snow and ice on the ground. They not only did a great job with everything, but ALSO walked my father up the driveway bc they could see he was struggling and mom said when she reached the back of the house one of the others was chipping away at the ice by the back door. Tree Service of Troy was great!! We're getting our roof replaced in 2 weeks, so we needed someone to come out soon-ish to trim the trees back before the roof is done. They trimmed back 4 trees, 2 in the front in these pictures, and 2 in the backyard. They showed up around 5:30pm and stayed until around 7pm to complete the job! They cleaned up the sidewalks and driveway afterwards and we're very affordable. I would highly recommend them!!

Tree Service of Troy showed up on time and completed their work professionally and quickly. Merrill Martinez was actively involved supervisor. Also, Mr. Martinez is a certified arborist as well as a certified crane operator. This was evidently a small job for them but they did it very well and you couldn’t tell they had heavy equipment in the backyard lawn after their completion.

I had two huge trees in my back yard that kept having rather large limbs falling off. I have dogs and little kids living next to me and I didn't want anyone getting hurt. Tree service of Troy did an excellent job cutting them down. Got both trees down in one day and cleaned up the mess too. Would highly recommend them.

I had to remove a 40' elm which was deader than dead, and these guys were very competitively priced, followed my instructions to a T and were obviously very experienced and safety conscious. - And they cleaned up all the detritus afterward.
If I HAVE to do this again (-and I hope I won't - I hate cutting down trees! )

There was a very tall tree on the fence line between my house and my neighbor's house, it was losing branches due to disease. My neighbor and I were both concerned that it would come down onto one of our homes...it was in a very dangerous spot with electrical and phone wires crossing the path. Robert had to pull the bucket truck off the job because of the danger to his crew. I was really disappointed, but he said he would have it done within two days. The next day, Robert had a crane operator come out to remove the tree in sections. I wish I was home to see it, I guess it was really amazing. Anyway

We have been dealing with this company for about a month. There were a lot of delays and we had to keep following up on things. After only doing part of the job, the “Field Manager” informed us that they had done “more than enough” work for the quoted price (which is baffling because he was the one that evaluated what we needed done and gave us the quote and the job wasn’t done yet), and gave us issues about finishing up the job. As a compromise, they offered to take some money off the quoted price so they wouldn’t have to do the full job they quoted us for but now we’ll have to find

I highly recommend Tree Service of Troy, they were punctual, professional and attentive to our needs. They were detail oriented- they confirmed what work was to be done and went the extra mile to make sure we were pleased! They cleaned up after wards and the crew was very pleasant. Their trucks and equipment were impressive and they even have a pink chipper to honor breast cancer survivors. We truly were impressed and will use them again!

I was referred to Tree Service of Troy by a friend. I have used many other tree service companies in the past but this is the first time I needed a tree removed. Rick responded to may phone call immediately, he came out to my house and left me quote, I accepted it and within three weeks all the work was done. I received a phone call the day before they were going to do the work from Rick and as schedule they showed up the next day about 11 am. AJ was a great team lead. I had the neighbor's massive diseased elm tree fall on top of my house with large tree branches piercing the roof and one going right into my upstairs bedroom and severe weather starting at 4 am. Thankfully Robert came out at 5 pm for a quote and his incredible crew had that massive tree off my house and the holes in my roof tarped by 10:30 pm. They brought out everything and everyone! The whole neighborhood came out to watch this amazing show. They even brought out lighting so they could continue working in the dark. Got an estimate and appointment a few weeks ago, fair price. Troy Tree Service said they would be here today 10/25/20 between 10am and noon. Never showed by 1pm. Called the office and the receptionist said she I was on the schedule and she would call the foreman and call me back with a new time line. It's now 2:30p still no word. Call office again, same thing, the foreman will call when there on the way. It's now 7pm still have not heard from anyone. I sat here ALL day now and no one has called. Very, very poor service!!!!

After dealing for ONE WEEK with an unreliable tree company... I called the main line and was professionally handled, then an within 1.5 hours, an estimator came and gave a reasonable quote and was able to get the team on site SAME DAY!
The crew was professional, quick and cleaned up afterwards. I will be recommending and using this company moving forward!

They are great. Not only are they super polite they stand by their work and their work is quality work.
I had four different tree trimming companies come out for estimates.
I was going to go with another company only because they did our neighbors trees and I liked their work and the price was fair. The company told me they were busy which I completely understand as it is that time of year. But the company I wanted to go with didn't answer any of my calls, emails, voice messages, and text messages.
So I was bummed because the other two companies that gave us estimates were not impressive
