The fob for my Chevy Malibu was badly damaged in an accident, so I went to Paradise Chevrolet, where I bought the car, and they quoted me a replacement charge of $220 or more. I didn't want to pay that price, so I went here for another estimate. I got the replacement fob for $102 and it only took them about 1/2 hour to program it.
I will be going back to have a battery replaced on my other car--and for all my locksmith needs.

This guy is asheet head. He was very rude to me one time i went to his store. I came in respectful and he was very rude and angry and didn't look at me when he talked to me.So i decided to send him his justice and hilariously did. I called him saying i locked myself out of my car. I told him i was at target in oxnard. He later called me to confirm where i was at. He said he couldn't find me. and i told him i had to quickly hang up because i had to take an important call and i would call him in less them 5 minutes. I never did AHAHAH. This clown literally called me back over 100 TIMES

I had to rekey a Mercedes Sprinter and this was the only non-dealer that responded. I took my van in, the staff (especially Hector) is very helpful and professional. They even gave me a cash discount. The keys were programmed and locks were change and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend them.

ZERO STARS Horrible service, or at least with the woman answering their phones! I've called 4 times trying to schedule a re-key on our utility van. My first call into Ventura Locksmith, I was told they were a mobile service. During the scheduling process I gave her our address and phone number and asked if someone would be able to come out today. She said their technician would reach out to schedule a time. After about an hour, I called to follow up and as soon as I said "Hi this is Holly regarding the re-key on the utility van..", she hung up. I figured maybe the connection was

I just want to say that I have had the worst day today but the highlight of my day was going to this place after calling and driving all over to get new key/key holder made. If that sums up my day in a sentence you will know how bad it has been.
I dropped my key for my 2012 Honda Accord EXL and it shattered in a couple pieces like a Motorola Razor phone. There is nothing wrong with the key itself or the remote part, just the cheap casing. I went to Auto Zone (who referred me - thank you) to order a new case. After getting there and discovering that the case wasn't going to work and

This company is not operating ethically.
The are not up-front about their warranty for services and returns for the products they offer.
They charge 60% restocking fee for return items, its un hear of, they said the manufacture charge that much, I call the manufacturer and they said they don't charge that much.
They sold me a panic bar unit for an apartment complex with a inaccurate cylinder key match. The supposed to have a 30 day warranty but charge to go fix the cylinder.
Until today I have not had a resolution after serval calls and emails.

Two weeks ago, I stupidly drove off in my car with my mailbox keys on the roof of my car. I was dealing with the anger of a family member and these guys came through and saved my butt. I made an appointment for them to come by less than 24 hours later (on a Sunday). Not only was Ricardo on time and extremely quick in changing the mailbox lock, but he was so friendly and made me two free copies of the key on the spot (they have a key-cutting machine in their truck - how convenient is that!). Just from that experience, I recommended them to my family members.

If I could give zero stars I would. I lost my car keys, I called and got a quote for two keys made and an unlock would be included. They show up, unlock the car, and then tell me the keys will be twice the price, and they can't do it for a few days. So...my car is unlocked on the street for two days and no keys, and they charged me $135? I called a locksmith in Santa Paula, he made two keys in an hour for half of this shady business's price. Don't use these guys. Bait and switch and extremely unprofessional.

Avoid these crooks like the plague! They aren't worth the drama, read this whole review before you even consider calling them. I called in on a Friday hoping to get a key made for a vw eurovan. They told me they could do it if I have my vehicle towed in to their shop Saturday before 2. Nect day I had a tow truck on the way and called ahead advising them I would have the van there by 1245 leaving them plenty of time to make the key. They told me since the shop actually closed at 1 that day and it might take up to an hour to program the key in to the vehicle, id have to CANCEL my tow truck
