We had work done over 1 year ago. The communication while planning was poor, and we were told on part of the project we would just have to wait and adjust as they worked on it to see. Would have been fine, but they did not adjust anything we had talked about. Left us with a ski slope full of rock that even the workers said they couldn't walk on safely. Also built a breeze walkway, but the gravel was loose and kept washing away when it rained. The designer, when we called about it, said that was not good. The staff are amazing! First of all they FIXED THE PROBLEM THE SAME DAY! They called me back and got my urgent sprinkler situation on the schedule the same day. The technician Gerod who was assigned to our project was professional, took my concerns seriously, knowledgeable, affordable, did the job for the best price, and educated me about how to use the system moving forward. Being a new homeowner and not having a clue why my sprinklers weren't working, I was completely at their mercy and they didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. You can trust this company!

Absolutely love working with this company! Andrew listens to what we want and helps us find solutions that match our budget. He always respond quickly and provide a detailed quote or the work and clear pricing information. Fred has helped us with sprinkler repairs and redesign- he always looks for ways to save us money and have our system work the best and most efficient way possible! He is extremely knowledgable and takes his time to help us understand and find tune our system. They did an incredible job on spring clean-up, aeration and fertilizing- our lawn and garden has never looked better

We had them redo 45 year old landscaping in our front yard. They did a really nice job and the neighbors can't stop complimenting their work. The process of getting a quote was very well done and the managers were all very professional. The workers, who did the actual job were also very nice and cleaned up after themselves every day.
The plant warranty person does an excellent job of keeping up with all of the customers, and routinely comes by to check on the plants, the water schedule (of the new sprinkler system), etc. We had one small plant not make it through the winter this year

Just one year after their work, I am very unhappy with this landscaping company. They are extremely expensive and their work is poor quality. They did the original landscaping for my new home. They did not put any topsoil down before they installed the sod. Now I have to reseed and patch areas every spring because the underlying soil is just the natural adobe dirt, which is hard as concrete and does not absorb moisture or applied fertilizer. They refused to redo the sodding to include top soil installation. Also, the edging they installed between my rock and the greenway grass is falling

On 5/16/15 my wife and I went to Alpine Gardens to get ideas for backyard landscaping and decorating for our new home. We arrived around 2:00 PM, and noticed the business was busy. We walked the outdoor nursery and plants area for nearly 45-minutes, being passed and overlooked by a number of Alpine Gardens employees. My wife finally volunteered to go inside the shop to ask for help. To her surprise she was told by a female Alpine Gardens employee that they were "too busy" to send someone out to help us with our questions and purchase. The woman told my wife to "just read the plant

Unfortunately I have to write this review about Alpine Gardens. I thought they were the choice for both commercial and personal landscaping, but they failed on both fronts. I really don't like writing bad reviews but want the general public to know they only care about ultra large contracts and their level of service is marginal...at best.

Full back yard re-landscape- After meeting with 3 prospective landscapers and obtaining at best, vague explanations of what the others were going to do, we called Alpine. Jack met with us and we gave him some ideas of what we wanted. 7 days later we met with Jack again. He had detailed drawings, a complete list of every plant, were it was going, detailed goals for completion and even color CAD drawings of visual perspective of what the final project would look like. Most important a set in stone price. He designed a complete package that far exceeded our rough ideas and fit our goals perfectly
