Life Safety Service & Supply is proud to employ the finest factory-trained field service and special hazards technicians in the region. Our people have many years of experience working with facility owners and managers to ensure that emergency lighting equipment and fire suppression systems will work when they must: in the event of a blackout, fire, or other catastrophe.
Does it add up practically and economically to maintain critical life safety equipment with in-house personnel who have little or no professional training and a multitude of other building responsibilities? Do they have the time and/or the expertise to do it right? Most buildings have emergency lighting from different manufacturers, which means they require different voltages batteries, lamps, chargers and other parts.
Life Safety Service & Supply also offers the servicing of another critical life safety product line: portable fire extinguishers. Our experienced field service technicians work closely with building owners and operators of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities to be sure that fire extinguishers comply with NFPA 10 Standard for portable fire extinguishers.
Let us assume responsibility for your AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) inspection and service liability. Our technician has AHA (American Heart Association) Certification and is also a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Trained Instructor. Not sure what needs to be tested and more importantly, when?
The National Electrical Code, the NFPA LIfe Safety Code and OSHA require that schools and colleges, healthcare and assisted living facilities, hotels/motels and restaurants, retail shops, municipal buildings and other public facilities must be equipped with life safety equipment. These codes are far-reaching and require that every emergency lighting unit be checked for 30 seconds monthly and 90 minutes annually.
