One of the main reasons Hero Moving came about was the need for a moving company different from the rest. One that would allow current and aspiring first responders to provide for their families as well as provide a quality service to customers that can be summed up with one word. Over a decade ago due to the recession owner, Kyle, was faced with a decision to change careers.
Residential house moves are the most common service that we provide. Whether we move just your large items or your entire home, we will make sure that your needs are met. We use moving blankets on all furniture pieces along with shrink wrap to make sure no drawers fall out and all corners of furniture are protected.
One of the most common moving services that Hero Moving provides is residential home moves. Some clients hire us to move large items like furniture and appliances, while others ask us to move all their belongings, and we meet all their needs. When we move furniture, we shrink-wrap items to ensure that drawers stay in place and wrap them in moving blankets to protect the corners and surfaces.

I would not recommend this company to any of my friends!!! Represented as a first responder owned company you would figure they would stand behind and honor their service... I used this company for a move and as a result of said move my living room tv was damaged. I contacted their company to place a claim and was sent a letter for intent to file the claim. Since receiving the letter the company representative no longer answers my calls, voicemails, or emails. I've tried following up several times for approximately 2 months since I made the claim with no response. $1400 tv was damaged and

Hero Moving moved all of our three truckloads from one home in Avery Ranch to a Georgetown. The guys were pleasant, conversational, making sure they were careful with our things. As we unpack we haven't found anything damaged. Hero will be helping move our things from storage to our new home next year. We would definitely use them again.

These guys are #1 in moving!!! Very organized, courteous and professional!! We are newlyweds and barely had time for a move, but Hero moving made the transition from my apartment to my hubby's home so easy and in record time!! Wow what huge disappointment!
I used Hero moving 6 years ago when we moved to Jarrell and had a great experience but this move was horrible! Waited over 4 hours for movers to arrive, they were exhausted! The next day they were late to storage unit (I explained I had a meeting) owner called during my meeting threatened to keep my belongings if I did not agree with his pricing and hung up on me. I am a retired principal and understand working with the public and dealing with unhappy citizens but there is NEVER a reason to act the way he did!!! I hope he reads this and reflects on how he was wrong

These guys were incredible! I had the "A Team" - Luke, Taylor, Patrick, and Stephen! They were so hard working! I never saw them walk - they constantly ran between places. They managed to move my entire house (which I had lived in for 25 years) in 10 hours. During the move they were extremely polite, respectful, and accommodating. They gave great ideas for furniture placement, and constantly checked in with me to see if I was pleased. I highly recommend them and would for sure hire them again for any move!

We did not have a good experience with this company. The movers were nice guys, but when they put the beds back together at the new residence, they were not fully attached. They were in a rush to get out. We also had a couple of spots on the wood floors in our new home that had gotten some damage. The biggest issue we had is that the final price was double the quoted price. At no time during the moving process did they come to us to address the price increase. It was definitely a shock. We addressed it with the company and they did not attempt to reconcile any of the cost. This was my retirement

Sept. 5, 2018: First off, I want to say that Hero Moving has been my go to moving company the past few years. I've always felt I could trust them with any and all of my valuable possessions. Hiring a company whose staff are First Responders and whose motto for business is "DUTY-HONOR-TRUST" made it a no brainer for me.

As someone who has actually worked for this company and know several past employees, I can tell you to avoid them. Almost all these reviews are from themselves. They are extremely shady. Even on jobs there were times the movers would forget something. And instead of taking it back to the owner, they would keep it for themselves. From top to bottom they are irresponsible, unprofessional, and cut alot of corners. Avoid!

This is long overdue. I just wanted to applaud Harry and his crew that came and moved me from my place to my new spot on the 21st.
I was so impressed. I wasnt sure how things would go and not knowing how long it would take, I was a bit anxious! Harry and his crew arrived on time to start eagerly and with professional and friendly attitudes.
They had a plan from start to finish. They took charge took care of my items and respected the fact that we needed booties on their shoes in my sister's house, thank you!
I know I didnt have too much stuff but they worked real hard and expeditiously

I have moved more times than the average person! My recent movers were "Hero Moving/Helping Hands".... and they were exceptional! The 3 man crew (Chris, Harry and Clayton) were timely, very organized, respectful and hard workers! I was prepared for them...by having my boxes, tubs, furniture etc. ready to load... which i believe made their job move quicker to my storage unit. They had a plan for the storage unit space by creating a small walk way in case I need to get to any of my belongings. We came 'under' the estimated cost quoted to me and I tipped them the difference! It

We had hero movers move us into a house from a top apartment, it was three guys and one of the guys was 17 and it was his first day. I was truly impressed by the leadership and efficiency these guys had to get it done without any issues and they were so respectful yes sir yes ma'am! We used this service to relocate from the Austin area to NE Texas. The team arrived on time and packed for 12 hours. The unpacking from the trucks to storage was rushed and unorganized. The price was $3,000 more than we were expecting. We didn't know about the increase until the job was completed. Huge disappointment. Our belongings have been in temporary storage for months. So, I didn't know the condition of our items until now. I was very disappointed to discover that our clothes were not hung/packed in wardrobe boxes. Well its official, we have now moved the rest of our stuff out of storage and 100% moved into our new house and I am so thankful we found great help. (This review is long over due). Hero Movers helped us back in January after we waited till the last minute and our previous movers were unavailable. The two men that came out were just a delight and definitely knew what they were doing. My only complaint is they ran out of moving pads at the end and i had to use some of my bedding to avoid a few pieces getting scratched or damaged. Incredibly sweet young gentlemen came to our home, arrived punctually (even called ten minutes prior to arriving as the young woman making our appointment said they would). Both men worked like they were unpacking and moving their own furniture and precious belongings into their own home. They never slacked and were extremely surprised when I insisted they take a few breaks, having water or electrolyte drinks (they'd actually brought their own) and donuts! =)

These guys were on time, professional, and worked hard. They made me sweat watching them ... they even ran up and down the stairs ... definitely see the difference in fitness between them and me. Haha.
Having said that, they were very careful with my items and padded the door on entry to avoid damaging the house as things went in and out.
I cannot be more positive and the fact that they are also some of our area first-responders makes me happy to help them out with extra work.
