Needed a garbage disposal replaced. The disposal itself cost abt $100- they charged me $285 to install! They are WAY overpriced:(. They did give me quote - I just wanted it installed ASAP and didn't want to have to call someone else over. I will NEVER use them again. Don't know WHERE all these good price reviews came from on them! Rob you blind! Which- the service guy even said he could prob change it blindfolded. Talk abt added insult to injury.

We had an annoying drip from the bathtub faucet. Jake with Max plumbing came out twice he was able to help stop the drip and then fixed a under sink shut off valve that was stripped. He had to change it to a quarter lock valve and did some welding and shouldering. He initially charged $200 for the job but after seeing I was not happy with the price. Called his supervisor and gave a fair price.He was clean and courteous with his service, he did have several phone calls coming in during his service related to a scheduling emergency. Otherwise no complaints.

Our toilet was leaking around the base. Matt's pluming came out and picked up the toilet and dropped it on a cloth on the floor. Dropping it caused a permanent mark/indentation on our tile. They denied that they had made the mark despite the fact that the house had been cleaned by a professional that morning and had no marks until after Matt's came. Also the mark is in the shape of a toilet base. Also the caulking around the base is already cracking! They returned our first call, but ignored other calls.

CJ was very professional and explained everything he was doing to fix our master sink issue. He spent time diagnosing the issue and answered all of the questions I had which made me feel comfortable and reassured. I appreciated the text and email when he was en route to our home giving me an eta. The receptionist was also very pleasant over the phone. I would use Matt's Plumbing in the future.

Great local family owned plumbing business in Tampa. I'm overdue in reviewing as we had our service call October 3rd but better late than never I suppose. Sunday night we opened our bathroom sink cabinet to find standing water. Eek! There was a slow drip so were able to turn of the valves but it had to be fixed! First thing Monday morning I was calling for help to Matt's Plumbing. Within a couple hours, Jake came to the rescue. He was able to diagnose and fix the bad cartridge and we haven't had a problem since. Thanks everyone for swooping in.

I had a repair that was completed by Matt's
Plumbing. Their plumber was excellent and went well above and beyond to make sure that this was an excellent experience. Unfortunately it was marred by the fact that American Home Shield was also involved in the repair. Despite AHS doing everything in their power to make this as unpleasant as possible, the people at Matt's left me feeling very positive about the whole experience. I would recommend Matt's to anyone. I would not recommend AHS to anyone.

The main drain In my home became clogged which caused the toilets, bathtubs and sinks to backup into my home. My home warranty company assigned my case to Matt's.
Monica in the office called me very quickly and moved heaven and Earth to get a technician out to my home right away because our water was shut off to avoid further flooding. Within a few hours, technician/ plumbing wizard, Daniel arrived and he quickly set about assessing my issues in formulating a plan of action.
He was polite and informative. He was not condescending (even though i followed him around asked him a million questions

Purchased my home 3 months ago and have American Home Shield Warranty. My Water Heater died while we had guests staying with us. AHS Warranty put me in contact with Matt's Plumbing. They came out right away even though they were busy because I told them we had guests from out of town. Jake showed up within an hour of my call. He explained that my heater needed replacing and that some of the pipes were not compliant and some other issues. He also prepared me that he had to get approval from AHS and they may not cover everything depending on my contract. He was very thorough with everything

I had a chrome bib installed in my bath shower since construction of the house in 2004 . The handle broke due to old age ,when their tech came he claimed that it wasn't tear and wear. I complained to this Co's owner who was very very rude and impolite , he shouldn't deal with public with that attitude . They ripped me off for $75.00. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this plumber.

I have worked alongside Matt for years and he is throughly ethical and super knowledgeable about his trade. Matt's Plumbing is VERY competitive unless you are looking for a handyman trying to pass himself off as a plumber. I wish there were more companies ran by people like Matt. Give them a call when you need a plumber or have a drain backing up!

I had major draining issues, I had initially called a private company out (Your Plumber) who quoted me $5,000 and the need to redo all my pipes. Matt's was sent out by my home warranty, and Matt was able to find my actual issue, which wasn't covered but he saved me from being scammed to redo my pipes and saved me literally thousands dollars!
