Liberty moving sent a manager out to give us an assessment. He gave us a quote, set up the appointment and took payment for our deposit. Our appointment was set up for a Saturday morning. Around noon on the day of the appointment we received a call saying the truck broke down and he was running late. Around 5pm later that day he called and said the truck would be out first thing Sunday morning. You guessed it... no truck on Sunday morning! They finally show up around 4pm with one 26ft truck, two movers and no packing supplies to pack our entire 2100 sq ft home. Of course we call the office

Hired this company to move me from Long Island to Texas and it was the worst experience. This company hasn't a clue of what they are doing or how to handle a claim. I was told one thing and then it was something else, my stuff went into 2 different storage spaces at there facility so I ended up getting 2 different deliveries of my valuables. Numerous missing items and damaged items and they also did physical damage at my new property which was an accident and they assumed the responsibility but the process with dealing with claims is a nightmare and and they devalue your belongings and they

If I would give them a negative star I would. Terrible experience. We made an appointment for one of their moving consultants to come to our home and give us an estimate. The consultant was rude and did not follow proper covid protocols. He did not pay attention to the things we mentioned and proceeded to tell us that we were difficult to work with, started yelling at my wife and myself and left in the middle of the estimate.

I have never written a review before but Larry and this top notch company deserve this honest ,5 star ,very appreciative review . Choose Liberty in Commack ,NY if you are looking for a moving company .
What I thought would be a simple move ended up being very complicated . I had no idea that having the right moving company could change a nightmare move into a smooth move .
Larry was my initial contact and gave me my estimate and remained a pivotal help during this chaotic move. He was calm and reassuring and provided top notch service and options

We contracted Liberty for a house move in our town. They came recommended by our realtor. They came to us with a quote of just over $2900. They said it might be slightly more based on the time it takes. The day of the move the workers were kind and efficient. They advised us they couldn't take anything apart and worked diligently to get things packed. Towards the end, the could not fit 2 basketball hoops, a treadmill and a grill. They asked me if they could come back the next day and get it. I had to rent a truck to move it myself. They had a rough time getting things into the house which

This company, Liberty, was subcontracted by the movers I thought I was dealing with, TX Moving and Storage. So this review goes for them, too. I really didn't expect very much when I agreed to this mover, since I was cutting costs. But the experience was worse than I imagined. A dispatcher told me to be ready for pickup at 6-8 am. I was. My movers, from a different company (Liberty) than the one I thought I'd contracted with (TX), arrived at close to 11. The truck had Budget Rental written on the side. The first thing they did was have me fill out all new moving forms, since my arrangements

This was the second time in my life I moved. I was moving from NY to NC to retire. I chose Liberty moving based on its sales person Larry Martin and the comfort he gave us in planning this big move. We got estimates from 3 movers and felt most confident in Liberty. Their price was competitive compared to the other companies.
The move went extremely well and better than we expected. The movers were very careful with our home and belongings. The moving men were polite and courteous. We moved 3 flat screen TVs and all were packed well.

I had received many glorious recommendations regarding this company. The salesman came out to give us an estimate and explain the procedure; marking each n every item with a sticker as to where it would be placed upon our arrival in our new home in Lancaster, Pa. we moved from our home in Kings Park, NY after 34+ years.
They were told they would be packing everything. Thank god we had packed it. They showed up at 8:30 in the morning: a driver (supervisor if you will:Noah a very nice nice gentleman) and three movers. They looked at what we had and immediately started to load the truck. FYI/ I am

Liberty came out and gave an estimate that was slightly higher than the others, but we chose them because they gave the impression of a highly competent company that would do an outstanding job.

I have never worked with professional movers before, but I have to think that this team sets a very high standard. From their timely response to our initial inquiry, to Stephen doing such a great job with the estimate. Then our moving team (Willie and his colleagues) arrived right on time on moving day. They were professional, speedy and had good humor. Same when they arrived at our destination... and not a scratch on anything. I greatly appreciated all of the great service!

After a somewhat successful (some of our furniture was "lost" in the warehouse) move in 2012, I decided to use United again. We are making the move back to Georgia from NYC. I did, what I thought was, my due diligence. I read several reviews online and got 2 quotes from 2 different companies. In the end I decided to go with United because of their "bound" quote, which was over $1,000 more expensive then the other quote I received. I figured they had covered all their bases. We have used Liberty twice. A great choice. From start to finish working with these professionals has made our moves seamless. When we shopped for quotes others offered slightly lower rates but did not appear to offer he same level of service. For our recent move we shipped cross country. It was a pressureless experience. Our stuff arrived on a day with 104 degree temperatures. The crew was fantastic. They recycled the cartons, put everything together and were super professional and pleasant. We are very happy.
