Services
Century Carpet is owned by husband and wife team, Jean & Christine Coutu. They have been in the flooring industry for over 30 years. Jean began learning the business and started installing flooring - before he even graduated high school. Then, with the help of his wife, Christine, he worked for many years as a flooring installer for local area stores.
Your home is a reflection of you. We are here to carry that reflection throughout your home and help you find the right floor for you and your lifestyle. We are a proud member of The Flooring Network. As a member, we are among a group of independently owned floor covering retailers throughout the North East.
We remodeled our house including replacing all flooring in a 2-story house, over a 3-year period. Century Carpet provided all the materials and labor to replace our flooring. In addition, they supplied the materials and labor to install our remodeled kitchen tile backsplash. The knowledgeable and patient show room staff helped educate us about the merits of various types of flooring and alternative choices.
We offer free measuring and free quotes. The first step is to visit our showroom. We can walk you through your flooring options, and while you are here, we can schedule a time for us to measure your room(s) free of charge and provide you with a quote. We offer in-store design consultations, no appointment is necessary.

So glad we worked with Century Carpet! They were beyond helpful while we selected flooring for three different areas in our new home, no rush and no pressure! We reconnected with Century to help us with a manufacturer's product warranty issue. Century was able to help us get our claim processed promptly and smoothly and assisted us with updated flooring choices installation and styles. Gene and Andrea were outstanding to work with throughout the process - and were respectful and went way out of their way to help us. Due to issues surrounding COVID-19 precautions, they were extremely understanding and flexible to accommodate our schedule. Brian, who did the actual installation, was knowledgeable, skillful and helpful by laying out several floor designs
