Services
Doug Monsein, founder of Douglas Construction Group, spent his early post college years on construction job sites, falling in love with the entire process of building homes. After building over 300 homes for a regional builder, and with a degree from Vanderbilt University in hand, Doug left construction for a short period of time to apply his education toward running his family business.
Our passion for home building and high quality craftsmanship and design is reflected in the awards and recognition we have received over the years. While accolades and recognition are nice, our greatest reward comes with each of our satisfied homeowners. My husband and I can't say enough good things about DCG! We got on board with DCG after demolition of the previous home and the foundation and exterior of the new home was in place. From the beginning to the end the communication was excellent, with helpful binders to keep us organized with all of our choices (and one at the end to keep us organized and maintain our home well). All questions and concerns were answered quickly and with care. The entire process of building a home with DCG was excellent, and far exceeded our expectations. I never felt like a bother the many times I emailed or called
