1. Removal of existing surface. 2. Excavation of soil. 3. Set grades for drainage. 4. Installation of class II base to a depth of 4" for vehicles and 2" for pedestrians. 5. Spread 1 of bedding sand. 6. Paving stones are placed in their required pattern. 7. A border is placed around the entire perimeter.
Our salesperson was prompt & polite. He gave us many ideas to work with and we were glad that he was there. We were very impressed with the amount of work accomplished in such a short time, even when we altered the design of the steps and drains. Lower area next to the house turned out better than we imagined.

To start with, I had an appt. with Matt the owner bet 8:30 and 9:00. Someone from his office calls 9:08 to indicate Matt is on his way. 9:30 came, thus time no one pucks up calls to the office. 10:30 then 11:00, thus time I am told he us tied up with a job elsewhere. What kind of business ethic dies this owner have? If this paints an impression on the company, please beware.

Matt, the owner is happy to take your money, he has shady business practices and does not stand behind his work. He is all talk and will convince you he can do the work for a lower price because he cuts corners and his team leaves the project area a mess. There is no pride in his work and will say just about anything to get you out of his hair if… you have a problem including lying to you. I had them build levels on a rather large hill in my back yard using retaining wall blocks and pavers which was his design. They didn't compact it right and in less than a year, the pavers seperated, and

I was very pleased with pavers installed in driveway and back patio 5 years ago. Because of negative reviews, I hesitated when it was time to reseal. But I am glad I went back to Paving Stone of San Diego. They did a great job, on time, in budget, done by personable professional crew.

We are extremely pleased with the job done by Jim MCarthy. Jim did a wonderful job redoing the sealing in the back yard and cleaning out the damage done by too much water on the front walk. Jim moved everything for us and even offered to return and move everything back for us after a couple of days. He corrected some of the problems with the watering system and told us how to avoid problems. He was meticulous about every aspect of the job and the paving stones in the front and backyard look terrific. I tried to post a rave review on Yelp but it became too complicated a job for my skill level.

We needed quite a bit of work done in our yard; clearing all plants, grass and re-grading the land, in the front and back yards. Then we wanted pavers and artificial turf laid. We got three quotes. All three were pretty comparable in price; however, Josh from Paving Stone of San Diego went above and beyond the rest. Along with his quoted price he created a color visual of what our yard would look like when it was completed and did not charge for the computer generated drawing. Once we signed up, Josh offered his expertise in regards to the type and colors of the pavers. He brought several samples

We had Paving Stone of San Diego pave our driveway. We loved it so much we had them extend the pavers to our walkway and front entrance. Josh was there to supervise frequently and provided an outstanding design and color selection. His team was on time each day and we couldn't have been happier. Our neighbors provided many compliments and requested Josh's phone number for future jobs. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Very unprofessional company. Their workers are loud and rude. They also left a dumpster on the street during a scheduled slurry seal treatment, leaving a huge patch of the street untreated. The workers play loud music and leave trash around. Avoid this company, there are plenty of well ran businesses that deserve your money and don't waste tax payer money.

Highly unethical company… No work was ever completed on my job (that didn't start two months after I signed my contract), yet they still refuse to refund my deposit of $819.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They will overpromise and never deliver, especially if you're a smaller, less important job like mine was.
My salesman Josh clearly made a lot of verbal promises that were never officially approved my his management ("I'll talk to my construction manager first thing tomorrow morning" and "I'm not going to write this in the contract; I'll just talk to the crew and we'll take care of
