They had to cut a new code key
for my 2012 Chevy equinox because the one I had fell apart. Luckily I had the other key so he could get the code from it but once he made it it worked great. I recommend them to anyone)

Jamie had.keys to fit the older lock for my sliding door that solved a quest I've been undergoing since buying my house. Other locksmiths told me the blanks for these were keys were no longer available, but Jamie proved them wrong. Thanks.

Aaron's Lock & Key always does a great job for us. We've gone to them several times over the years to get all kinds of keys made and clickers done for our vehicles. They always beat the dealership price and we've never had to take a key back because it didn't work. We've always been treated with kindness, respect and the younger guy (sorry I'm bad w/names) works really fast! We don't even live in the state anymore but when we are in town and we need keys, we still make sure we go to them.

I was looking for a place to program some key fobs for a car. The dealership was gonna cost $300-400 for two fobs and programming.

I decided to ask the city FB page if they knew of any place in the area that can do this... for cheaper. Many people replied - "Aaron's." I called and it's a service they offer (also said to come first thing in the morning to make sure there is enough staff to assist).

I showed up about 10 minutes after they opened with my two fobs I bought off Amazon ($15 for the whole fob, including the electric parts). Within five minutes, both fobs were

Aaron's was great! They did a fantastic job! Resetting the oil gage had to be done thru the car's technology not like just push a button and your gage is reset like on older cars. He knew what to do.

Jaime was very knowledgeable. He helped program my key fob. I am frequent flyer at Aaron's. I had my other cars keys taken care here over the years. Truly recommend this shop, I would advised getting a quote with them before heading out to a "stealership".

Place was clean and followed covid guidelines. The 2 gentleman were very nice. My mom and I both needed car and house keys done. We both, on separate occasions, had keys done elsewhere to be discouraged to find the keys did not work (even after going back to have more made....that still did not work!). I finally decided to go to a "professional" place for service. Keys worked beautifully!! Reasonably priced. (Enjoyed reading his signs.) Will definitely go back (and recommend) Aaron for any key/lock service. Thank you!

So today in April 16, 2018 @ 10:15pm I went into Aaron's Lock & Key to get my button remote for my car fixed. Now ppl know when you go to get something fix you text to go back to the place you bought it at. Well i go in there and inform the Manager Jimmy that I came up to this place months ago to get the remote button fixed before and that one of his employees fixed it and he stated that no one here fixed this cause we don't soldered these like this.
I informed him that i came up here cause i bought it from them and one of his employees did that months ago. Yet i get called a liar

I arrived at 4:26 (closed at 4:30) in terrible traffic we drove a half an hour to get here and they refused to serve me as well as gave me an extremely judgemental lecture about being on time, super degrading! You're the one who is not on time closing early! I don't appreciate being treated this was as a potential customer and now I never will be one! Definitely not a forward-thinking business and very unprofessional!

Set up an appointment 24 hours ago to have our door locks changed. Dwyne showed up on time, did exactly what needed to be done. The quote was more than fair and they stand behind their work like you would expect a generation old business does.
What more can a customer ask for?

Been doing business with them for years and gladly recommend others to them. Good people doing good work is the best deal a customer can ask for.

The work they do is very good. The staff seems knowledgable.
However, I was unfortunate enough to have to deal with someone who was very arrogant and condescending.
I would recommend this place if you have high tolerance of condescending people. I will not be going back there any time soon.

Did a great job on a key for my used car, a 2006 Mazda which only came with one set of keys. Reprogrammed the fob as well, and it was a lot less expensive than a dealership. Nice people running the shop.

I've been meaning to switch out the lock/knob and deadbolts on my front and back door for YEARS and finally got around to calling Aaron's to get it done.

I called on a Friday and Duane arrived at 8:45am the next business day. He was super friendly and removed the old locks and installed the new locks within a 1/2 hour. Everything tested PERFECT and the job couldn't have been done any better.

Aaron's has been sponsoring local rec teams here in Madison Heights for as long as I can remember, so calling them was EASY and I wish more local Madison Heights families and businesses
