Ok, this review is LONG overdue. After attending a few weddings (after ours) and experiencing the music and performance from the DJs and hearing the couple and guest complain about their DJ playing a setlist that was not customizable and completely not what they discussed, I cannot help but always look back and be extremely grateful for Atmosphere Events. They were so amazing!!

Atmosphere Events are hands down the best! They provide high quality lighting, logo lighting, spotlights and special effects that completely change the atmosphere of an event venue.

We are a very large celebrity makeup artist company called "The Masterclass" This company was the worst company we have ever hired in our 10 year history of organizing these very successful events. We hired this company for lighting. They brought the wrong lights to the event after 3 weeks of explaining what lighting we need for makeup. The owner Joe Paxton then texted his lighting technicians that were with us in the theater the night before our event which was taking place the next morning. My husband took the lead in this one area for our recent wedding on June 24, 2018 and he managed to chose an excellent vendor! We met with Joe awhile out before our wedding date to discuss what we were interested in and what our vision was. He was very down to earth and was able to demonstrate the lighting and extras he had to offer at his studio. My husband loved him and I felt good about him too so we went ahead and booked him that day. Not usual of me to write a 1 star review, nor do I believe in bashing on any company. In this case it was a special and important occasion and I am more than willing to share my experiences and why the 1 star. I invite any yelper to personally DM me and I will share my +/- experience working with Joe and staff (and you can be the judge). As an avid and reputable Yelp reviewer (feel free to read my other reviews for legitimacy) I have no reason to lie.

Atmosphere Events saved our event with only days to spare. We had a production company lined up to provide lighting, electricity and audio needs and we had to drop them last minute. Thankfully we had another vendor refer us to Atmosphere Events, and Joe and his crew came in at the last minute to make our event perfect. The staff was efficient, professional, highly skilled, and delivered beyond our expectations. Even after our hired DJ left and the party continued on, Atmosphere was able to pull through and seamlessly pick up where the DJ left off. We are so grateful for Atmosphere Events and look

Joe said a simple request would have resolved the issue. I asked 3 times to have the music turned down. How many more times did I need to ask? Since I had expressed how important this was to me I should not have to had ever asked. Joe should have checked with me if it was ok. I wasn't seated very often I was walking around the room visiting with my guests so to say it was where it was where I was seated that made it too loud is incorrect. I have a hard time believing any of my guests asked if he would turn the music up since so many of them had to go outside to talk. In the days following

One year ago, i began my search for a vendor that could do zig zag market lighting / bistro lighting for me at the loft in pine. after getting and communicating with about seven vendors, i came across Joe Paxton of atmosphere events. from day one, he was incredibly knowledgeable, quick to respond, and this past weekend, executed the work he had promised with accuracy and swiftness.

Joe was our phenomenal DJ/MC at our wedding this past weekend at seven-degrees. He was very open to our wants and needs, played music that everyone loved, and made working with him very very easy. He went along with all of our crazy requests, provided guidance when we needed it, was mindful of the crowd and energy at our wedding, and also gave the time and attention needed to make sure everything was done the way we wanted. He was aces from start to finish.

Joe was our DJ for our wedding last week. He did a great job of playing the music that we liked while also reading the crowd and making sure that everyone was always moving. We had a blast!

When it came to planning my wedding, I knew I wanted an awesome DJ. I met with Joe at Atmosphere Events and I immediately knew I wanted him to work my wedding. I felt welcomed and comfortable.
Joe responded quickly to all my emails and questions. I had no worries about his ability to rock my wedding.
Joe played all the songs I listed for him! I danced so much with my family and friends during my wedding. I appreciate and thank Joe for making my wedding awesome!

Joe was fantastic on our big day. He played everything asked for including Brazilian and Persian music for our multicultural wedding. Everyone was dancing! He also did the uplighting, pinspots and pipe and drape. He rocked it!

I can say this much. Atmosphere Events delivers each and every time. From small affairs like engagement paroties, to their gorgeous lighting and decor setup at the knot marketing mix party, I am always blown away. The team is an absolute pleasure to work with and each and every person is as down to earth and kind as it gets. As a planner, I always want my clients to end up in good hands. And Atmosphere not only knows how to treat their brides and grooms, they truly care.

Joe does not want what's best for his brides and grooms! Made us feel bad for "wasting his time" during consultation and became aggressive with me (made me cry) when we told him that we weren't ready to book and use him as our dj for our wedding 6 months away. He kept our deposit of $600 even though he told us 2-3 other couples wanted our date... use them then! We told him the very next day that we changed our minds. We don't want to use joe because we didn't feel comfortable with him and the way he talked to me after I told him we didn't want to use him confirmed that!! He was angry and mean.

We had DJ Richard, and our guests loved him! He was so much fun, very flexible with last minute music changes, and kept our group of friends dancing, long after others had left. The lighting in our venue also looked phenomenal, and Joe, the man in charge of Atmosphere Events, gave us exactly what was discussed and promised. We were so lucky to get Richard, he is the best DJ I have ever heard!!

Joe was great. Our Wedding planner Linsey recommended him to us as she had used him for other events in the past. When we first met with him he was very courteous and his show room was amazing. He first went over all of the packages that he offered and he also had a deal that month that was to good to be true. We decided that his services were in our budget and signed the contract. He went over other options that we could add on such as the photo booth, monogram, extra lighting and speakers. We didn't have an idea of how much more we could spend since we were in the beginning stages of planning

Joe was amazing! From our 1st consultation months ago, Joe was able to help us create a package for our dream wedding, I loved the lighting options and especially the GOBO design.
To see our initials glowing on our wedding dance floor melted my heart!
Our grand wedding entrance to Happy was the best! We all had such a great time, I am still getting text's how fun the wedding was! Especially my 1st dance was amazing beautiful couldn't of asked for anything more!

Joe and DJ Max from Atmosphere Events were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding at Crystal Cove in November 2015. They were prompt, professional, and genuinely excited for our special day throughout the entire process. The reception went off without a hitch thanks to DJ Max, and our guests had an amazing time on the dance floor!! It was truly a magical evening. In addition to all of this, their prices are extremely reasonable and well worth it.

I hired Atmosphere Events for my wedding and they were WONDERFUL! Joe is a true and thorough professional. I was not Bridezilla at all (Bridechilla) and I didn't really have a lot of songs that needed to get played at my wedding. I told Joe that I wanted a dance party and to feel out the crowd and get everyone to dance. He did just that!!! I heard from a lot of people that it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to.
