Would never trust Benny again. They paved two driveways for me and they are both terrible. Weeds began to grow through within a month and my small car pushed through in places. It is easy to see where they barely covered the gravel base. Benny came out and admitted they needed more asphalt and made promise after promise to make it right. All I got in the end was excuses as to why he couldn't come and perform the repairs and eventually he just stopped taking my calls. Now in the process of pursuing legal action after over a year of excuses and no shows. Beware of fake positive reviews posted

This review serves as a follow-up to my March 15th original review update. I'm extremely disheartened by this entire experience.
When the guys finally came back out they poured recycled asphalt, again even though it's clear to anyone that the rain would just wash it away in certain spots of our driveway.
I go out to ask father and son why they're using this material again when it clearly didn't work the first time. They tell me that it will hopefully harden given the warmer temps we were having...even though rain was in the forecast for that evening and the following day. They both told me if

Update: March 15, Benny and Eddie came back out with their crew to fix the driveway. We have all agreed that recycled asphalt was not the best option for our driveway. Given that we did not originally pay for hot asphalt they poured another layer of recycled in hopes that the warmer temps will help it to settle and not crack again. We were told that if it doesn’t hold due to the steep incline of our driveway they will come back out and continue to come out until it’s right which I can really appreciate.

I have used smith road builders for several projects. My projects were somewhat large residential projects but I understand they do a lot of commercial projects like asphalt parking lots and drives. In my first project with them, I had a concrete driveway and sidewalk removed and replaced. It included colored concrete, and insets for pavers, and gutters. This is pictured below. They were on time every time and had to work into the night to make sure the concrete was finished properly. They returned the next morning to perform the cut joints to minimize the appearance of joints and prevent cracking

Great company to hire does great work helps you understand whats going on and what needs done my drive way was always a wash out when it would rain so when i gave them a call i said i loved my gravel drive way and didnt want to get hot pavement so they told me about chip and seal now i have a beautiful gravel driveway !!! and when the rain comes it stays in place ! would for sure hire over and over thank you smith road builders for doing a great job.
