It's always fun to walk the Architectural Warehouse. You never know what you might find. Personally I love all the great old doors and gates. If you have a special home and are looking for something unique or unusual to accent your home, Architectural Warehouse might just be the place. This is a pretty big place with lots of treasures

I drove up to Tyron, from Myrtle Beach, specifically to shop for architectural salvage. What I found was a lovely shop with some antiques, some newer pieces, and some architectural salvage pieces. I would not call it an architectural warehouse. Nevertheless, I was able to buy a door. Other items I was hoping to get were not to be had.

If you enjoy interesting stuff, then this is the place for you. Open to the public, but a favorite location for decorators and antique buffs in the know, Architectural Warehouse is an expansive warehouse loaded with period furniture and tons of accents like paintings and prints, lamps, rugs, books, and all kinds of unusual knick knacks. Prices are very reasonable and are negotiable. In fact, we bought a leather sofa at an amazing price. Kathy is very helpful. A delightfully fun place to visit and shop.
