Since they were small children, the love of their nursery and gardening has been engrained in Greg Jr. and Brian Burghardt. These guys are great. I’m on our community HOA board and my wife heads up our Beautification Committee so we interact with Rockaway in a few different ways. We agree they’re reliable, know plants, do great work with attention to detail and are easy to work with. From flowers to trees Greg has a good eye for what would look good where too, “right plant right place”. They charge us a fair price, in line with other options. No more complaints from residents. We changed vendors every 2 or so years before we found these guys. I grew up around the landscaping business and don’t impress easily

Rockaway did an excellent job landscaping our property in Jacksonville Beach. We had some plants that they were able to work into their design to make our property feel like a true resort property. The lighting is amazing. The design work with Rosalinde was very professional. She arrived with real photos to give us an idea of what to expect when the project was complete. Dan the project manager kept us informed during the project to let us know what to expect while things were happening and what to expect over the next several weeks with watering the new sod, trees and plants. We could not be more pleased about the landscape job Rockaway’s team just completed for us! We had two big beds in front of our condo completely refreshed and they look beautiful! Their team did a wonderful job consulting with us on the design and coordinating the plants and installation. And their crew was so friendly and professional and even worked through the pouring rain to help get the job completed for us. I am in love with this local Jax beach nursery! I've started getting my Christmas tree here and everyone here is so friendly and helpful! The trees are great quality too! You can also find a vibrant Pointsettia plant in the greenhouse. Sometimes, they have a small table with mimosas and hot chocolate set up around the plants! Do the Rockaway and add this spot to your local vendor list!

We had a tree fall in our yard and we also had a long vacation and the yard was a mess this spring. We called Trad's and they gave us a fair estimate and we scheduled. We were surprised to find an old friend, Rory, was their employee and maintained our yard. In a few short months our yard has done a complete transformation. The weeds are under control and the insects aren't destroying our grass anymore. Rory has done a great job. Thank you, Trad's.

I love Rockaway. It's super cute, affordable, and has a huge variety of plants to chose from. All of the staff is warm, welcoming, and super helpful. I came here one afternoon looking to find some good indoor plants and had at least three works give me good suggestions. Every time I need some plant inspiration I come to Rockaway. Every plant i have purchased as lasted, and all of their plants are in perfect or almost perfect conditions.

If you are looking to have ANY kind of landscaping done then look no further. David is the man! He knows plants & landscaping better than anyone I've met. We have small kids and two dogs so he automatically made sure there were no poisonous plants in the proposal (like sago palms which are everywhere out at the beach). They charge a $100 fee to come out and develop plans but it gets credited towards your account. I felt like David did exactly what we wanted and came up with ideas that we liked even more. I absolutely love this nursery! I would highly suggest subscribing to their email list because they have a lot of community events and awesome workshops to be a part of. Every time I've been here I have received the utmost positive customer service. There is always a plethora of flowers, and plants of every size and shape. Overall, this is such a beautiful space and I would highly suggest stopping by, even if you think you don't need anything.

Best selection of herbs, vegetables, and succulents that I have seen so far. The staff is not as helpful or friendly as the Trad's staff but plenty helpful enough. The plants themselves are in excellent shape. They also have a Christmas tree farm so if you are into Christmas trees, preorder yours now.
They currently have an section for Pumpkins and such for Halloween. This garden center is quite far from my residential area but I would drive up here for their live products.
