Jeff founded Southwinds Landscape Company 35 years ago in the Raleigh Durham area after studying with the famous JC Raulston at NC State.
It was here where got his feel for both corporate and residential landscape design and installation. Raulston's affinity for mingling hardscapes and plant material to create beautiful outdoor spaces inspired Jeff to become skilled in rock work and water features. These elements naturally became a Southwinds signature.
Since moving the company to Western North Carolina nearly 20 years ago, Jeff has enjoyed design and installation among more unique natural topography. His integrated, curved boulder walls are a perfect example of how his work reflects the natural world and has a well-suited home among the natural beauty of Western NC.
