As a young man, his passion for architecture and building lead him to study and earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in Building Construction and Architecture. After graduation, Neil worked for several firms in the Chicago area and Boulder, Colorado. In 2003, Neil established Hardin Builders, Inc and currently builds throughout Chicagoland and Wisconsin.

Hardin Builders Inc. was fantastic to work with! SO AWESOME! Kitchen looks great in the picture, but I've got to say it is even better to actually USE! Thanks again for the great work. We wanted a full kitchen design build, which included expanding the kitchen into the adjacent sun room. The renovated space is absolutely beautiful and everything we dreamed it could be.

We have yet to actually begin our project, but I am already so impressed with & grateful for Neil. He is very responsive, very realistic & respectful to our budget, & just a kind, genuine guy producing gorgeous work no matter the size of the project or budget. We feel cared for & that he’s excited about his work. Definitely looking forward to the finished product!

Hardin Builders did a wonderful job on our extensive remodel to lower level, upstairs and patio. From start to finish we had open communications that made it easy for us to understand all the processes involved. Neil is a true professional and made it fun for us. They walked us through ideas we had and guided us in areas to save money and ultimately turned our home into more than what we expected!
