New facility to replace the existing antiquated Library providing the campus with the center for information, learning assistance (tutoring), staff augmentation (Teaching Innovation Center) and the data and technology hub for each of the MiraCosta Campus locations.The construction classification of Type II fully fire sprinklered was utilized to accommodate the needed building size in the desired location adjacent to the existing Library.
