I've been involved in the renovation and refurbishment of historic buildings for several decades. Discovering New York Hardware, I felt like a kid in a candy store. They have the best selection of custom, vintage and historic fixtures I've ever seen. Jennifer and the team are very knowledgeable and accommodated some tricky international shipping arrangements for me. For unique fixtures for custom or historic work, I can't recommend New York Hardware more highly.

In search of quality hardware for my newly renovated kitchen. With all the thought that went in to everything else I needed to make sure I didn't skimp on quality it style. NYH came highly recommended and I also seem the store featured on tv. I decided to look online snd I found exactly what I was looking for.
I ordered pulls for the kitchen they arrived with in 3 days. Hardware arrived individually packaged in 2 shipments. I was more than satisfied with the pulls they are detailed and have a good weight to them they look and feel expensive for me that's a good thing with all the planning

I would not recommend purchasing from New York hardware. Go to build.com, Ferguson, or other reputable online vendors that will take returns.
I bought hardware for thousands of dollars and I had 2 brand new handles (still in the box) that didn't work with my style. They charged me a 25% restocking fee as well shipping. Working with a store where returns and exchanges are prohibitive doesn't work for people who are going through a renovation where there will be design unknowns. I'm very disappointed and I would caution anyone who is considering working with New York hardware. There

I looked at several online hardware sites as well as a local place. All had a fairly large selection but the sales staff came up short when you had questions or needed advice. I dealt with Chris Sanchez at New York Hardware and he knew his inventory and had the necessary product knowledge to offer several suggestions. He was also instrumental in helping nail down a choice that was perfect.

I have been shopping what seemed to be everywhere for kitchen cabinet handles/pulls. First time inside this place and I was in Oz!! They have every style, color and size you can imagine. Thank goodness the sweetest assistant came to my rescue (I think she could tell this was my 1st time big project), she not only found the right style/colored handles but was able to save me money with her recommendations. I will go back again and highly recommend!!

Was referred here for many high quality choices. Our experience was that rep who assisted was less than interested in follow up and detail required of a business who SHOULD specialize in exactly that, excuse was VERY BUSY!! Hardware took forever as a special order and was not communicated that we had to go back to the store for pick up. Major hassle and pain considering high prices charged.

My sister and I went to New York Hardware today looking for knobs and a towel bar for the bathroom. They have a lot of variety and beautiful products, but while we saw employees, no one greeted us or asked if we had questions or needed any help and while many items had prices posted, many did not, unless it was in some kind of code. We left without purchasing anything.

They have a huge variety. The people are friendly and always acknowledge you when you walk in the door. They are available for questions and are eager to help.
Draw back, not open on weekends anymore. But the store to completely worth it.
Check it out and compare, their unique findings to that of the dull hardware everywhere else.
Unless, you like the unoriginal, than stay with Home Depot.

I love this hardware store. It's so fun to look at the large selection they have of unique hardware for your home.
They are not located near my home but I love the customer service and selection so Its worth the drive to Costa Mesa. I recently needed new numbers for my home address and Thomas and Ashley were very friendly and helpful and I found exactly what I needed.
I highly recommend this hardware store, just like their tag line says , "very fancy hardware" makes it worth the visit and you can always find what you need here.
