Most recently we received the 2015 NTMA Honor Award in recognition for our superior design, quality and craftsmanship. Terrazzo may have been another of mankind's accidental discoveries. In the 15th century, mosaic artisans in Northen Italy swept waste marble chips out onto their terraces, "terrazzi" and by walking on them, smoothed the surfaces.
