From start to finish Anthony and his men were professional, on-time, honest, complete, thorough, and by the way, built an awesome deck!! My negihbors mentioned how the crew was quiet, professional, and clean they were. Anthony kept me in the loop when there was a delay (due to weather) and he handles the entire process of clearing the project with the county. I would recommend Anthony and his crew to handle any project - especially near the beach. I have nothing but compliments to give to them and would recommend them without reservation to any prospective customers.

If you are able to get Anthony and his team schedule to build your deck or dock, you should do it! As a former engineer, Anthony patiently answered all of our questions and worked with us to professionally design the perfect deck. They took care of all the permits. Anthony has a trusted relationship with the St. Augustine building inspector which is worth its wait in gold in terms of getting permits processed and approved. The team was onsite for a week and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job and working together. Most importantly the finished product was a wonderful deck created by a smooth and

Anthony and his crews were great! Anthony provided great communication throughout the entire process from start to finish. His crews showed up on time every day and provided solid, quality work. They were professional while on site as well. My neighbor even commented on their professionalism and how well they worked, now he is looking to get a quote from them. They used quality products (marine grade lumber, stainless steel hardware, etc.) and knew what needed to be used given our proximity to the beach. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We very highly recommend Decks, Docks & Things (DD&T). Two long rows of high-quality bulkheads (marine grade lumber) were recently constructed by DD&T to mitigate years of serious soil erosion directly behind our townhomes.
As a homeowner here said, “Anthony is a rock star.” He is.
Since our townhomes were built around 2001, soil erosion around the complex has been awful. And behind one row of townhomes, the drainage ditch had never been maintained and was a swamp of trees, bushes, trash that first had to be removed by DD&T, along with draining standing water multiple times, bringing in dirt

Decks, Docks, and Things, LLC of St. Augustine, FL, recently constructed a TREX deck for us here in Ponte Vedra Beach. We are both pleased and proud of the deck and how carefully it was constructed. Anthony, the owner, used only the finest materials; marine grade timber, stainless steel fasteners, notched 6" X 6" posts, and all wood on wood supports to eliminate metal hardware. So, not only is the deck beautiful, but the structure is superior. Also, Anthony fabricated a stainless steel cable railing system providing for a wonderful, unobstructed view of our lake.

I hired DD&T to build a deck this past October. The owner Anthony was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He did exactly what he said he'd do and he did it when he said he'd do it. I am a general contractor. I deal with contractors on a daily basis and must say that Anthony is a true professional and very easy to work with. Referring trades people and writing reviews is something I often pass on but would give DD&T a shining review and recommendation any day of the week.
