We often hear, I like my kitchen's layout. I just want to change the look and add an island, " and "there's nothing wrong with my cabinet boxes, but I want the fronts (or "look") changed." By streamlining our custom cabinet resurfacing process, we can give you the same look as all new custom cabinets, but with the convenience of a quick installation, quality materials and with no need to remove appiances while we update your kitchen cabinets.
Services
Kitchen CPR is a family-owned business based out of Rye, New Hampshire. After having a custom cabinetry business for years, we saw a need for an upscale "kitchen update" without having to build an entirely new set of cabinets when there is nothing wrong with existing cabinetry except that it's dated.
WE'LL VISIT YOUR HOME to assess your current cabinetry and give you our honest opinion of how to transform your kitchen in the best way possible while keeping any budget restrictions in mind. We'll bring sample cabinet doors, photos and give you information about our cabinet remodeling system; WE'LL LISTEN TO WHAT YOU WANT; we'll give you a written guide of what the next steps will be.
WE ALSO COVER THE INSIDE EDGES OF YOUR EXISTING FACEFRAMES (the part on the sides that you see when you open the doors) AS WELL AS THE UNDERSIDE OF THE UPPER CABINETS for a finished look, rather than just ignoring these areas.
We use only 1/4" solid HARDWOOD stock, NEVER thin, stick-on veneer and NEVER "plastic" pieces. We cover the cabinet fronts (faceframes) and cover the sides and island fronts with wood panels. We'll add crown and other various mouldings to enhance the new look of your kitchen. We've been painting our own cabinets for years, and began using waterbased systems before the "green" movement began.
Our clients wanted an "updated kitchen" that made their dark kitchen brighter, and wanted the base cabinets on the dining room side panelled, while changing the drop-down counter section into one, sleek piece. Ok.done! The door and drawer style they chose was a recessed panel and their countertop was a quartz called seashell.
