My husband and I used them when we made a big out of state move from VA to CA.. and I have never had such a bad experience with any other company in my life! The worst customer service. I believe this company is affiliated with city jump moving and storage. it may just be a hidden secondary company. my reasoning for this are the quotes we received from both companies are from the exact same person via email qualityassurance@moving-qa.com. if so, see my review below on city jump moving and storage and run.

If I could give them a negative score I would. 1 star is far more gracious than they deserve. We were estimated 2600 to get my parents and all of their stuff moved. Once the movers got there they called and said it'll be 3500-3800. My father lives off disability and can not afford more than the 2600 they signed a contract for so he gave up his couch, end tables, dressers, bed, dining room table and chairs and they STILL said they wanted 3000. They took full advantage of a disabled human being. He left his entire life in another state and since he wasn't there to regulate what the movers were doing

If you want 20% of your personal belongings to be lost/stolen/damaged, use this company. For no additional fee, the dispatcher will talk to you like trash.
They don’t even pretend to care. If they did, they’d try to remedy some of these situations laid out in the reviews and then ask people to update or remove their review.

Adam H, my sales guy, was great at his job. He talked me out of all the bad reviews that I questioned him about. I've never written a review so felt it was important to not let anyone else fall into the same mistake. They will tell you whatever you need to hear.

Stay away from this company. Company is unprofessional and does not stand behind quoted amount. Upon delivery, there was two extra chairs that belonged to another customer. I did not accept them, but why were those pieces included with my inventory? Not only that, but about a week after I gave them my credit card information, my card was comprised and used at multiple food and entertainment spots within a 5 mile radius of their office (through third party apps). Let me tell you it is probably cheaper to rent a pod and pack it yourself. At least with pods you are paying for a full month at there price and packing it at your time. Whats nice about pods they have companies that work with them to come over and unload you items and there customer service and are there departments are very professional. My move was picked up I believe on September 27, 2019 and delivered on October 2, 2019. My experience with future van lines was mixed. Adam was great on the phone and sent you an estimate which was later changed because of my final count. They are estimated

Avoid at all costs. ITEMS DAMAGED BEYOND ALL COMPREHENSION. The company that FVL sub-contracted to complete the last leg of the delivery, stated that all customers expecting deliveries from FVL on the same truck received broken/late/destroyed shipments as well. He stated he didn't want to work with FVL ever again after today.

The salesman promised things that were not truly offered, such as a set time frame for delivery and the fact that my things would be separated in the truck by a metal wall from other people's items. The day of pickup I was treated very rudely by the man who was at my apartment. He was literally yelling at me on the phone. Future Van Lines is a rip off. They quoted me a price and took a deposit upon pick up and the balance due tripled upon delivery. The pick up date was 7/29 but they didn't show up until 7/31. My furniture was to be delivered on 8/6, it didn't show up until 8/29. I called the "dispatch office" daily to find out where my stuff was and was lied to over and over again. They gave me excuses like, we don't have a truck going to your part of the country.

I wouldn't recommend this company. On a Monday I scheduled a short move within Arlington for 8 AM that Saturday. In the afternoon the day before on Friday they called and said they would arrive between 4 and 7 PM instead. Then they just never showed up. They did refund my deposit though, so I appreciate that at least.

I have never been so disappointed by a company's service. First of all, they showed up to my house to pick up my stuff 5 hours later than estimated. I understand a 2-3 hour window, but it was annoying having to sit around for 5 hours waiting for them. When they finally arrived, it was dark out and they repeatedly dropped my boxes because they were rushing so much. One of the movers literally rolled a dolly with my boxes down the stairs (denting them) as fast he could. It was stressful. This was the absolute worst moving company we have ever hired. Totally unprofessional and horrible. They apparently gave us a "low ball estimate" to secure our job and they upcharged us over $3500 from the quoted estimate. The lead moving person was incredibly rude and disrespectful. As soon as they arrived they started demanding us sign paperwork saying we would pay whatever they deem necessary for packing extras and an extra truck because the truck they brought was not enough even though they had a detailed inventory of our stuff prior to the move. If I didn't have to leave one Star I wouldn't because they didn't deserve it.
My wife and I needed a "Professional Mover" move some furniture from her Late Aunts Estate in Virginia to our home in Florida. Some old antiques that are fragile and delicate, we even paid extra for blankets which we weren't allowed to keep so that what happened wouldn't happen.
A China Cabinet that's over 100 years old had the curved glass broken (see photo).
When asked they said that's too bad but they wouldn't offer to repair it and they never contacted us again

I had great expectations for this move based on the phone conversation that I had to set it up. I was terribly disappointed in the actual process and outcome. My mom's sewing machine which was in perfect condition was totally destroyed. One of the primary pieces of my bed did not arrive. A box of kitchen glass was in shards when I opened it. A few boxes were smashed; a box of books was open on the truck; they tried to give me an item that wasn't mine. The guys who packed the truck were a half day late; the guys who delivered were four days past when they said when they would arrive

I had a move from Jersey to Texas with this company. They did do a good job of wrapping our furniture but when it arrived, a piece of our table was broken. I also have to say their communication is terrible! I was never told that they only had trucks running every 2 weeks out west. If I would have known that, I could have planned better.
