Since the beginning of starting RTL, I have learned a great deal about myself and about dealing with problems that arise in this industry. I feel like I have seen it all, from people who have been completely taken advantage of, to people who are just not satisfied with what they paid to have done. I primarily only do referral work and have worked diligently to build my business to this level.
At RTL, we believe in doing things one job at a time. We are a true small business that is not trying to be a big business. From the start of a job to the finish, we are dedicated to being reliable and upfront with no hidden costs. There is nothing worse than getting a quote at the beginning of a job and the price inflating at the end a job.
When it comes to site prep and landscaping, RTL has over 30 years experience in reshaping your property due to drainage issues and in improving the aesthetic of your yard. We carry the State Plant Setters License in order to be board and certified to install plants and sod. We understand drainage problems do not happen overnight and sometimes does present problems only seen in heavy rains.
Retaining walls have become a more common way to enhance the aesthetics of your property and even to create a yard for more space. It is vitally important to have a proven company with lots of experience to build your wall. There are many variables in the wall building process that do not always show the problem in the initial construction phase.

We constantly strive to be completely accessible and do a wonderful job. However, it’s almost impossible to do the unthinkable things that today’s client expect you to do. In today’s business climate, some clients never give you the opportunity before they leave a terrible review. No patience, no understanding and no time to correct anything if there is a problem. We pride ourselves in doing one job at a time so that each client can have a wonderful experience and feel important. It’s unfortunate to receive 1 star reviews when clients will not give you the courtesy nor the time to work

Adam Ragland installed topsoil and sod in our back yard in May, 2021. The job was quite costly, $7,500. By July and August much of the topsoil and grass had washed away. I spoke with Mr. Ragland on August 18, 2021, to advise him of this problem, He said he would come by and look at the situation in a couple of days, and that the washing of the topsoil and grass was because of the rain we had received. Within days of speaking to him, we had an invasion of army worms that completely destroyed the remainder of the grass. Mr. Ragland never showed up. I asked him before he began the job if there was

Adam Ragland and his crew are so respectful, responsible and honest. His quote was in my budget and included more work than others were offering. I had an abandoned pool needing filled. He brought in fill and topsoil, graded to match my land and had it ready for seed. Beautiful job and I hope to work with them again. Before and after photos. Will post another when grass come in.

DON'T LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. Adam and his crew are exceptional. Needed 20 truck loads of dirt from a pool dig in our back yard and in a Small confined space to remove the dirt from. They picked out the best route, and shortest route to get the dirt out. Which minimized time, meaning savings on dollars for me. They even considered my current yard, and only drove on the parts they had too. Highly recommend them. You should see Adam run that CAT, unbelievably fast. Thanks Guys.

Adam Ragland worked with my neighbor and I to resolve a large slope retention issues between the two properties. Adam was professional, responsive, and patient as we investigated all our options. The weather cooperates during the excavation and work was completed ahead of the expected date. Work included removal of old lumber walls, excavation of soft ground behind walls .and repacking of slope with riprap.
