Our grease trap pumping service thoroughly pumps your grease trap, eliminating the odor and safety problems associated with poorly maintained grease traps. Having your septic system maintained on a regular basis is one of the most important things you can do to ensure performance and reliability over the years.
A well-respected and admired businessman in the field of septic services since 1996, Brian Stearns of Stearns Septic has recently expanded his scope of business and has embarked on a new venture! To meet the ever-increasing demand for specialty services, Brian has formed Stearns Unlimited, LLC, a company which provides Vactor, Jetter, and Catch Basin Cleaning services.
Locate the original state approved septic design for the system installed. This can be obtained from your local town office or city hall or from NH DES or the State of Vermont. Know where your septic system is located and do not build any decks or other structures over any part of the system. DO NOT overuse the system design.

This was our 4th interaction with Stearns Septic Service for different properties. The Stearns team is fast, efficient, proficient and professional. Their obvious knowledge of their craft is an example of how all septic service providers should be. My wife and I just bought a home in Eastman. Neither of us have ANY experience with septic systems. The folks we bought the home from haven't really kept up with the maintenance of anything.
The guy from Stearns showed up on time but was a bit short with my wife upon arrival (I wasn't home). However, once he went out and did what he needed to do, he was more pleasant.
Turns out the cover of my septic tank was cracked so they measured it and are going to make me a new one and then install it a week from today.
Additionally, I have a lot of root intrusion to deal with and the Stearns guy explained

My grey water pump stopped working over a holiday weekend so I had to wait a couple days before calling my Septic company as they were closed. Once I got a hold of them they were honest and said they couldn't make it out until the following week and suggested I call another company. I called Stearns and they were there within an hour! Got my tank pumped and now I can get an electrician to come fix the wiring issue. Thanks Stearns!

Wow....frustrating....I tried to book service but was REFUSED because I am not familiar with the location of the clean out and the tank. Isn't that THEIR JOB??? I'm a Registered Nurse....I'm not a plumber or a septic technician. I offered to pay ANY FEE and begged them to just come out and evaluate but I was refused by the receptionist who said she spoke to the boss. 35 minutes of a frustrating call...and service refused. Not good business practice. The next provider I called was lovely and is coming out tomorrow. Excellent...clue: stay higher up on the alphabet in your search. Nicer people are

By far the best septic company in our area. They never try to upcharge, are always courteous and friendly, and take the time to explain issues and offer guidance and options. The ladies in the office are awesome to work with and they always are prompt, send helpful reminders, and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Today was the first time my mother Ruth Pellettieri used this company. Our normal guy is out with injury. Calling to make an appointment with this company was very pleasant. Receptionist immedietly set up a person to come out. The man who showed up was very pleasant, explained what was going on and just had a very wonderful persona.
