From our humble beginnings in 1948 repairing and replacing storefront glass on California Avenue to becoming the leading glass supplier in Kern County, we pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and values that have been handed down through the years. I ordered glass in July 2021 and cancelled the order in December 2021 because I still had not received it. I heard many different versions of why my glass was not ready during the 5 months I waited. When I called one last time in December to check, they could magically get it in a week and a half for an additional $300. No thanks!

We bought a new house and later discovered that we had a sliding window with malfunctioning slide devices. We contacted Kern Glass, they came out, identified the problem, and ordered new sliders. When received picked them up and installed them. Window slides easily!
I highly recommend Kern Glass for all window and related issues. Will definitely use them again.

Attempted to get a quote from this company. When I called and scheduled my quote I specifically stated that I would take time off from work for the time they were scheduling me for a quote. Scheduled date and time came with no one showing. I made contact with them to ask if they were still showing as I had never received a phone call stating they would have to cancel or that they were running late. I spoke to the person scheduling and was told that the individual that gives estimates was out of town due being tied up with other matters. She was very apologetic and explained there was a lack of

A friend recommended these guys so we gave them a try, and was pleased with their recommendation! Kern Glass are reasonably priced, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, a little challenging with communication, but every time they were polite and respectful. We even had our shower window done through them. Great local company to the point that we will be getting two more windows from these guys.

Got a quote from KC for mirrors and glass for bathroom remodels. Let me start by saying if I was to base my review on only the materials and workmanship I would give them five stars. KC is great and the quote was fair, but the service from the office was horrible.
After agreeing to the estimate and getting the first items ordered that is when the trouble started. I realize COVID has caused issues with getting materials, but the trouble was not with getting the products, but with the office follow ups. After ordering the first batch of materials I had to initiate all the calls to see what happened

It starts with KC.... came out gave me a quote. Very friendly and professional!!! A few weeks later for the install and his crew Eric, Tanner, Christian and Frankie were really amazing. They worked as a team taking a huge 5 foot by 96 inches piece of glass upstairs with very little wiggle room. Extremely friendly and professional crew!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great price in glass and excellent customer service!!! I love keeping my money local especially to small businesses and this time it was a home run thanks KERN GLASS u made it easy!!!

I have a rental property in Bakersfield. I had a requirement for changing of Glass door in one bathroom and fixing of another glass door in another bathroom. I connected to Kern Glass through Yelp quotation system. They offered to visit the house without charges before giving me a quote. They visited the house and gave me a quote far less then what my regular contractor was giving. The difference was so huge that i can't even mention it. I was sold immediately. I called them and asked them to work on it. They told me that it is going to take around 10 days before they can get the door ready

Quoted me 600.00 for a 3 hr Job 100.00 per man. Their "man came out and him hot around and read through the directions and then said they were extremely busy blah blah blah now they send me a quote $600 hundred dollars an hour per man absolutely ridiculous I won't be calling them even for the smallest glass repair ever they Originally said it was $100 an hour now they switched it to $200 an hour isn't that false advertisement

Kern glass has done glass work on many of my projects and has done an excellent job. They just recently did a job for me in Santa Barbara and went way above what was required considering they had to come out of town and did a great job. I appreciate them doing our work. we have another job in the planning stage right now and I'm sure we will be using them once again.

I needed a replacement glass for my Aunt's coffee table. I called to see if they would be able to do it and they said yes. I went to their office the next day and Gina was absolutely wonderful to work with. She explained the process to me and even setup a time for someone to come over and measure the table to be sure. The glass was ready in less than a week. Gina was really helpful and I appreciated the excellent customer service.

I’ve used Kern Glass previously when I worked for a local contractor. They always provided great service and competitive bids. My sliding glass door recently broke. I called them up and they provided an appointment for the very next day. The estimator showed up right on time. They delivered on the price and their installers were friendly and prompt. They went as far as cleaning all the window units and tracks leaving them clean. I would highly recommend Kern Glass!!!
