Services
Stephen Aiuto grew up on Long Island, N.Y. He knew from a young age that he wanted to be a furniture craftsman. He knew that as long as he was following that dream, he would never have to work a day in his life. He originally studied to be a drafter, but soon realized that he would not be happy if all he was able to do for a career was draw up designs, he wanted to build them too.
We work with our customers to ensure we build our customers not just a suitable layout for their kitchen cabinets, but also the best cabinets to fit their unique kitchen. Cabinets that hold heavy items such as pots and pans are reinforced. Display areas are fitted with glass to show off precious china.
From full wall setups to simple desks, we can do it all. We've built specialized file cabinets, enclosures for computers, and even retractable monitor stands to safely tuck away an extra computer monitor when it is not needed. Our furniture is built to fit any and all of your needs. Our pieces can be designed to not only be functional, but eye catching as well.
After meeting with the customer, Stephen will begin his process by laying out a full size drawing of the piece. He will then translate that into a template for the entire project. Throughout the building process, pieces are constructed in segments and pieced together to test fittings in the shop. After everything has been placed together it is then taken apart and stained or painted according to the customer's wishes.
