After attempting to tackle the exterior of my new home, I turned to Marge. The house had been bank owned. The whole house was a mess with peeling paint. Marge and her excellent crew came in and man I was impressed. They actually sanded and blended the clapboards with orbital sanders, primed it, then two finish coats! The cost was competitive but the work and the friendly, professional crew were exceptional.

Worked for Marge 1 day a few years ago. Spent a lot of time filling out paperwork and driving to the middle of nowhere. Stood on a ladder in the hot summer sun sanding a concrete wall for hours. After that I was starting to paint a wall and got told I wasn't being aggressive enough. Apparently I had no idea what I was doing before even doing anything. She then sent me a handwritten message with my 1 day paycheck saying "painting isn't for you" after I quit. I wasn't interested in wasting anymore of my or other people's time with a boss getting emotional for no reason

Stunningly overpriced, which is fine if you are a hedge fund oinker or the offspring of John D. Rockefeller. Had two separate quotes provided for work at our home, and both were over 4x the price of the final contractors that we selected - and who did a great job. Another example of predatory contractors in Litchfield County.
