Staub Contractors has been in the business of roofing since 1974. We began as a small residential enterprise providing services such as shingle roofs, wood shakes, windows, aluminum siding and gutters. We soon began exploring the world of commercial roofing and expanded into that marketplace. We now have two full service divisions, residential and commercial.
We continue to be family owned and operated. The original owner's name is Bernie Staub, who now heads the commercial division. Son, Christopher, has now taken over the residential division after working with the tools for the past ten years. With over thirty five years of experience, we are proud to put our family name on our product.
We stand behind our workmanship and pride ourself on integrity and quality. We understand the value of continuing to educate our employees and ourselves with the latest developments in the industry, in order that both our divisions can continually evolve to provide you, ourcustomers, with superior service, quality and reliability.

Services
Once a call comes in for a commercial roof bid, a process is set in motion that we hope will insure your satisfaction. Staub Contractors will visit your site. At this time we will evaluate the overall condition of your roof and field measure the project. This inspection includes walking the entire roof to determine the current condition of the surfacem, underlayment and flashings.
For most people, purchasing a new roof is a rare event. You probably don't think much about your roof until there is a problem Your home is likely your biggest investment and you want to take care of it. A leaky roof can cause incalcuable damage to the dtructure of your house and the interior of your home in a relatively short time.
Ice build up at the eaves creates a dam that continually builds up and backs water up the roof. Most steep roofs are designed only to shed water and are not water resistant or waterproof. The ice formation will block intended natural flow of water off the roof and this willback up under the shingles and find its way into the house.
Energy concerns have driven the building trades to make our homes more energy efficient. This is mostly accomplishedby sealing our homes up tighter than a drum. Unfortunately, most homes are now underventilated. Lack of proper ventilatio is a major cause of premature roof failure and ice dam formation.

We had the opportunity to use Staub Contractors on 2 seperate occasions and were 110% satisfied both times! Our first home was VERY old (over 100 years) and had a double layered roof. It was completely unknown what we would encounter tearing that thing off! Bernie took care of us! I was nervous but his skilled workman made quick work of ripping the roof off and reparing the necessariy plywood underneath. ABSOLUTELY no issues! Bernie was there the entire time making sure of it. Fast forward to our new home that is more than twice the size, 3 stories tall and 30 miles away. Bernie took care of us

Quality and Dishonesty Issues

After 4 months of constant calls they told us we needed to provide them with an additional $6,000 for a township code permit in order to start the job now, in December of 2018. This permit was not discussed prior to or

If you want a leaky roof, these are your guys. After they replaced our roof 3 years ago, we had multiple leaks into the house causing 1000s of dollars in damages. Once we reported it, Bernie Staub came multiple times and his crew did something, but the roof was leaking again and again after rain in the family room and in the garage.
After that Bernie Staub said, that the problem is the vent and not a roof. Vent should be replaced with the cost of $400 and the leaking problem will be resolved. We invited a certified roofing company for the inspection and they said that, the vent is perfectly fine
