Big Water Damage

Huge flood on 2 floors. According to the contractor who is doing the repairs, the flood mitigation was not done properly and now we have mold. I will not be calling this company to correct the problems they have caused. But I have filed complaints. They charged at least double what should have been charged. And they know they overcharged, which is probably why David was in such a hurry to get the payment. He repeatedly hounded me for the insurance check and even told me that I should call the insurance to cancel the double signature check and ask the insurance to issue a check directly to them

They were extremely helpful and relived a lot of my anxiety and concerns back in February 2nd when we were hit with a major water damage cause by down pour of non-stop raining. They came in and cleaned-up! .

Crooks. Beware to both water damage victims and insurance companies. These people are looking out to bill you and the insurance companies big bucks. They do not care about helping you with your flood situation. I found this company online after a horrible flood in my condo, I called them out to come out for a written estimate so I can submit to my insurance for approval. They sent out a team of two guys with a moisture meter. They pressured me to start work ASAP, but I told them repeatedly I couldn't do anything without insurance approval. Big Water Damage was amazing! I worked with both Dave and Jorge who really know what they're doing. I had a pipe leak in a unit above me the day before Thanksgiving. Because of the holidays I wasn't able to file a claim right away, but they knew exactly what they could remove and what they shouldn't remove so that insurance would later cover their work. Because of their quick work removing my carpeting and some of the drywall, I didn't have any mold and I was able to have my place fixed extremely quickly.

Big Water Damage was sent to my home after a pipe burst and flooded my kitchen. Having not had any experience with water damage problems I didn't know one company from the next, but I'm certainly glad I chose the right one. The guys at Big Water came fast and they calmly explained what needed to be done. The water was everywhere and after cleaning up the mess, they helped speak with my insurance company to help handle my claim. I would definitely recommend Big Water Damage ~ after this disaster, they were fast, considerate and patient.

Tldr: This company has left us upset to the point of tears.

-I can second that they've charged us ridiculous amounts of for the job they did. Even that was unsatisfactory.

-Of the dozen workers they sent to work on our property only one could speak any English.

-When we brought in a contractor for an estimate on the repairs, they had to repair the shoddy work these people did.

-Much of the work they did was unnecessary and served only to drive up the bill. Yet they insisted and threatened us that it was needed or else they'd have the insurance company deny our claim.

Big Water Damage made an appointment to arrive between 8 and 10 am to clean my carpets. The day of the appointment when nobody had arrived by 9:40 am I called the company to check the status. The receptionist informed me that they had "tried to call me" that morning and the previous night to let me know they could not come due to another "emergency" job but could come the following day. I had already removed the furniture to prepare for the carpet cleaning so I declined their inconvenient offer. I was home the entire time and never received a call or a message on my voice mail
