If I could give zero stars, I would! I chose Hawk’s because I remember my parents doing lots business with this company for many years of my childhood. Clearly, the service isn’t the same.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service and response to requests for updates. My lawn treatment services began well but began to fall off early summer. I reached out to my salesperson with questions regarding a schedule as I noticed my lawn was not being treated as noted in my contract. I was told there were staffing issues, which I understood given COVID-19. But then I started receiving invoices

I am totally disappointed with their lack of response & lack of Hawkes taking full responsibility for inferior work done on our stone steps &
Over pricing of their estimate
-Double- actually!!!!
We have 2 other quotes for the work
Hawkes estimate is twice theirs with a fake offer of taking 50% of the cost!
-Amazingly brazen & profiteering stand
offering To redo work after only 4 years & after overcharging us 15000$ for pervious inferior work done
I will be posting on Nextdoor App
& warning Brookfield neighbours from using any of their services

I first contacted Hawks in March 2020 for several jobs on my property. This person needed to reschedule so it was then scheduled for April. The salesperson did not come - I called and was told she had an accident (understandable) and rescheduled. This time it was either end of April beginning of May. The person finally came, seemed very competent, was told I would be "at the top of the list" and she would make it up to me for the inconvenience of all the rescheduling. I expected a quote within 2 weeks. Nothng. I called and was told the estimator was a week and a half behind. Today is July 11th

Poor selection of plants. Perennials didn't make it to the next year. Bushes extremely woody....reused from another removal job? Design did not disguise unattractive elements as asked. Whatever didn't die the next year was pulled out due to its unattractive growth and position. Very poor planning and unskilled, amateur design. You are not getting the "landscape designers" you hear good things about at this price. You are getting amateurs at best. Waste of money. Did it myself anyway. Never again.

Hawks has done a terrible job landscaping at my condo. Franklin Oaks in Franklin. As grass started growing this year, several times they let it get 6-8 inches high and when they did cut, no trimming was done. Planting beds have not been touched as of July 22nd and are full of weeds in addition to bushes never being trimmed.
I would never recommend Hawks as they seem to not be very good at what they do.

Hawks is located in Steins. I called for a tree removal estimate. Jerry (a certified arborist) just showed up one morning and I saw him in my driveway. He was in the area. I didn't mind. At least he showed up and gave a free estimate, unlike Hoppe. Hawks estimate was way lower than any other estimate I received. He gave me the off season discount.

These geniuses can't tell were property lines are. They keep aerating and dumping weed & feed on my neighbor's lawn. I have called and talked to the owner 3 times. He thinks it is no big deal.
Update:
After 3 phone calls the owner couldn't have care less. Now with a review on Yelp he contacts me. His concern was not with tearing up my neighbors newly planted strips of sod or burning his lawn because it was getting twice as much fertilizer as it should... he was worried about his company doing "work" for free!!!

Went to the home show again this year and saw the same person that sold us a $4000 backyard landscaping of flowers and bushes in the corners and all I wanted to do was yell to everyone "stay away". After we signed the agreement, the crew of 3 guys came out around July in a huge dry spell!! I was worried at that point if the plants would make it and was told, no worries we had a year guarantee. No one checked on the backyard after the work was done from Hawks. They forgot to remove a stump in middle of yard and replace grass there. So the guys came back after I called and finished that

Terrarium plans were in full effect today as my friend and I stumbled across Hawks. She's much more well-versed in the botanical world and is my forever plant consultant so she came along. We were looking for cacti and few other plants, all of which Hawks provided a lovely variety.
The nursery was awesome, and the staff were extremely helpful and seemed to really enjoy their job. Not to mention the plants were AMAZING; my friend spotted a jade plant that she was in complete awe of. In addition to the spectacular plant care, the prices were right. We saw several lovely and large house plants

Originally we were pleased with the information received on reseeding our lawn. Unfortunately, they did not listen when we explained what we needed. We even brought in part of our "good" grass and part of the "bad" grass, so that they knew what we wanted to avoid. The grass seed we bought on their recommendation produced the same bad grass that we had just killed with Roundup. Very disappointed with their solution to the problem. We got a discount of new grass seed. They did not offer to send anyone out to look at the problem and they did not give us any refund on the produce

I love this place- it is so beautiful! In the warmer months they have a beautiful nursery and a helpful staff to help you choose what's right for your yard and in the winter they have Christmas trees and the store is decorated in holiday decor. They also sell gifts and furniture (for outdoor use mostly). We choose to spend a little extra and get knowledgeable and friendly service and shop in a very nice environment with unique plants and gifts.
