Our story began in 1992 while attending Angelo State University when we saw a need for moving services with better quality at a much lower price. Large moving companies had something of a monopoly in the industry, rates based on weight meant high prices were the norm, even for local short-distance moves.

I was going to San Angelo to buy an arcade game from someone. The machine is 400 pounds and the seller and I didn’t want to haul it out of his house. Denise was very helpful with scheduling, I even had to reschedule the date and they were very accommodating. Their guys showed up on time. I was shocked by how easy they made it look. I assumed two guys might struggle even with a dolly. These two didn’t even need the dolly, they just picked it up and carried it up a couple of stairs and out the front door. They had it on my trailer within 10 minutes of arriving! Worth every penny! Thanks again

They were so fast and helpful!!! I literally only scheduled them a few days before my moving day after another miving company cancelled on me and made my moving day a walk in the park!!! They drove their own truck and moved everything themselves amd even helped my throw out some old furniture that I wan't taking with me to my new place!!!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!!! I scheduled for 3 hours and they finished in a quarter of that time and only charged me for the time it took for them to move!!! The price houly rate was great as well!!! These are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They scheduled a delivery for Thursday. Called on Wednesday and said they had to deliver. When I told them no one would be available to meet them ,they said ok they would reschedule. I arrived home to find the items they were delivering piled in my driveway.

We booked a move and we r/s for a day earlier do to weather. I was informed the night before that I would receive a text or a call with a dispatch window. Time rolls around for the movers to show up 15 mins late from appointment time, totally not a big deal asked em about the dispatch call I was supposed to get. Walked them around the house to… show them what I had to move. They LEFT my front door open wide open, and LEFT the job without a word. So I'm sitting here thinking they went to go get a bigger truck or a trailer because it wouldn't fit? I don't know. Call recieve voicemail. Send

They just moved my furniture and things from storage to my new upstairs apartment and did an Excellent job moving my things. They were awesome. Moved a 3 bedroom two bath apartment into a 3 bedroom home in 2 hours and 15 minutes. They are upfront and honest about their cost as well as time. They were fast and careful. I highly recommend Affordable Movers and will always use them when I need assistance moving. The employees were motivated and I felt they handled my property as if it were their own. Great group of guys.

Excellent service! Everyone involved in my move was absolutely amazing! Ms. Denise was so sweet and helpful when she answered the phone. She got me set up quickly. Paul and the gentlemen showed up and got right to work. He said they were fast, and by golly they were fast! They were in and out and by my storage unit in UNDER the quoted time. I will always recommend them and will never use another company!

My experience began with a delightful phone call when I was in a bind...the lady was so helpful and made suggestions that made the move much easier. When the movers came to load up, they were not only upbeat but personable as well. They had lots of energy and did everything from A to Z to get things set up.
