Called out to a fix lock that would not open on double doors in our bedroom. Service person Gene was not able to get the door unlocked but said he would need a part that might take a couple of weeks to get. He promised to stay in touch.. After 3 weeks i called and they could not recollect their prior visit and had no intention of following up with us to solve the problem. When I used this company about 3 years ago Tom was the service person and he was excellent. Perhaps they changed hands as I would not recommend using Laguna locksmiths or The Lock Shop as they are ostensively the same company

Headed off for an appointment yesterday morning and couldn't get my garage door open. Went online and found Laguna Locksmith. The gal that answered the phone (sorry, can't remember her name) said she'd try and get a hold of her technician who was in the area but on his way to another client. I appreciated her efforts in getting me someone ASAP as I was trying to get to my appointment but decided to get an Uber and deal with the problem later. He was incredibly knowledgeable and quick about rekeying the three doors in my house. His rates were extremely reasonable, especially for Laguna Beach. Needed to replace a lost key. Brought in the pieces of the lock. Quickly made a new key. Had the simple keys and the fancier logo keys also.

Very nice service, reasonable prices.

I liked the boxes of extra door handles with locks (lock sets). They had character they can make a new key for those (talk about good recycling!).

This is a place you can tell will be able to figure out a tricky problem.

I had a great experience with The Lock Shop. I lost all my keys months ago and have been holding my landlord's keys hostage since. I could get into my apartment and my garage, but I still didn't have a mailbox key. My method of mail retrieval was to wait for my dog to start barking and to hear banging outside...then run downstairs to catch the mailwoman before she left. This is not a system I was proud of. Sooo...I finally decided it was time to get some keys of my own.

I called The Lock Shop and a young man with a drill appeared within 15 minutes to rescue me, the damsel in mail distress
