Jeremy Monk and their entire crew were a dream come true for my wife and I. We were looking to do a renovation of our cabin, as our retirement home. You hear about all the contractor nightmares, but not with Monk Construction. From the day we met Jeremy, our mind was at ease. I have had a challenging time finding quality, and responsive, workmanship related to home improvement since moving to Tomahawk. The owner and his staff have exceeded my expectations in almost every encounter with them. Their responses are prompt, estimates are not only reasonable but accurate (I have had more than one job come in under estimate), work is done per time forecast. I have used Monk Construction for jobs from a few hundred dollars to > $10k. I expect to use Monk Construction on all future construction work and absolutely recommend their services.

After a sizable search for a quality general contractor to do our house addition and remodel, we chose Monk Construction Company LLC. We never had to look back at any disappointment in that decision. Jeremy was the best in documenting all the answers to our questions, and he delivered on those promises. Jeremy and his crews added on to both sides of our house, and added a second floor on one side. The concrete foundation additions were difficult ones due to the water levels next to the lake and how the original foundation was built. But Jeremy and the excavator/concrete sub-contractor resolved

Monk Construction did a large garage/shed project for us. We originally chose them based upon their professional website...... in the end, their workmanship on our project was excellent. The end product was as we expected. Jeremy is easy to work with and is a can do/will do type of contractor. NO surprises. Job well done.

We were very impressed with the attention to detail, the desire to meet our needs as changes occurred throughout the project and Jeremy's responsiveness and accessibility. The project did take longer than expected but there were supplier delays and crew changes that impacted the project. The workers were all very friendly and comfortable to be around. We are looking forward to enjoying our addition and know that Jeremy will be available when the winter is over if we have any needs or concerns.

Monk Construction built our lake home in 2014-15. This was our first experience with new construction, and we are very pleased with the result! As project manager, Jeremy patiently explained all processes and answered all of our questions. In fact, the recording on his phone asks the caller to leave a message and says he will call back. Amazingly he does just that!
We were very fortunate to have master carpenter, Joel P., as crew chief on our project. He is as personable as he is skilled! Also, all the sub-contractors that Jeremy lined up were punctual and did excellent work.

Jeremy and his crew did a great job designing and building our new garage, a 22' X 30' beauty, and in replacing the aged roof on our home. The work was done professionally, well within the contracted finish date and very clean, especially with the roof work. No nails or small debris on the ground which to me is very important because of the chance of flying debris when mowing or the dog stepping on something that would cause an injury. Jeremy communicated any problems the crew might have had, brought any changes to our attention immediately and made sure he gave us options if there were additional
